I renewed to play classic a day or so ago, it seems im not allowed to use the auction house among other things, “action restricted”, i see others are in the same boat.
The idea i have to wait 28 days (a full months sub) just to use the AH and make the game playable is beyond absurd,
This wasn’t advertised before i bought a sub, can i request a refund for the months sub & cancel the account, as it feels like this is a bad joke?

It can take up to 72 hours for all social restrictions to be removed once game time has been added to an account. That includes the AH.
This seems to be about the restrictions placed on Classic games. The restrictions started at 30-days but now appears to be down to 26-days.
If you encounter these restrictions on any other WoW Classic characters, you must first pay for game time and allow 26 days to pass. You can confirm your order date in your Transaction History. Game Time from WoW Tokens does not count to lift this restriction.

I read that announcement. It appears that it only applies to new accounts. I haven’t had paid time in years, but if I were to decide to try out classic and added 30 days of game time, I would NOT be under this restriction, since I have had consumed paid game time (even if it was in the distant past). Is that correct?
It had to have been within the last seven years. Depending on how distant “the distant past” was, it might not qualify, which means you would have to fund a month of game time with a payment based on real money and let most of that month pass.

Thanks. I didn’t see 7 years mentioned in that reference blue post, but thanks for the info. I think my last paid time was less than 7 years ago. I guess I can check my account management page to see, yes?

Last paid time was 2020. Looks like I’m good for a few years still.
