<Acquired Taste> is an adult-only guild (25+ years old) seeking players who are looking for a long-term home away from all the drama and anti-social nature of other guilds. We are players with careers and families that want to spend our downtime with likewise individuals where we can relax and unwind after the day is done. All play interests are welcome (Raiding, Mythic+, PvP, Achievements, old content, etc.).

ABOUT US:
We pride ourselves in having a mature, team oriented, atmosphere. The core of the guild were founded back in 2007, and have stuck together through multiple expansions and servers.
Our members and officers are dedicated to guild success and long-term continuity. At the same time, we also understand that life happens and each member has real life priorities that sometimes take precedent.
OUR VALUES:
We want this game to be fun and a nice break from our real world responsibilities; not just another job or chore. Our guild is centered around a mature/adult atmosphere. This doesn't mean we're stuffy and don't know how to have fun, we just have no time or patience to put up with (stereotypical) childish nonsense. We have children of our own and would prefer not to babysit other peoples' children.
We believe that guild mates should play together. We encourage and support those that take the initiative to start their own groups. We want to be able to enjoy the game to the fullest in the limited amount of time we may have to play. We have a progression raid group but that is not the main focus of our guild.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for people ages 25 years old and older who share our values, and are looking for a long-term home for their characters. We are looking for people who will contribute to the guild through active participation in activities, being vocal in chat/Discord, assisting other members, and helping to grow our strong community.

For people interested in raiding:
Any new recruit is on a try-out basis, and must earn their permanent slot. We're looking for people who:
(a) Are dependable raiders committed to the limited time we have, come prepared with consumables, and have a desire to progress content in a casual atmosphere. We all want to progress as quickly as possible but sometimes there are limitations within an adult guild that can cause the attendance bug to be a factor.
(b) Are interested in joining and being an active part of our guild for the long-term. Walk-in permanent raid slots are not given upon recruitment, but earned over time. We want to ensure that all raiders are invested in the guild as a whole, and not just the raid slot.
(c) Are capable of putting the needs of the raid group above their own.
Individuals who can show that they meet both requirements above will solidify their permanent raid slot.

I thought your guild sounded like a great fit and applied about a month ago. Even after sending a tell to one of your officers in game, I never did get a response.
