We’re having some conflicting memories and I can’t find any clarification on this on the net.
Did the flying mounts you gained from achievements (glory of hero / glory of raider) grant you the appropriate flying level or did you still need to buy the training?
I’m certain from past memory my Death Knight back in original wrath completed What a Long Strange Journey (I think that’s the achievement name? The doing all seasonal achievements) for Violet Proto Drake gave me fast flying for free along with the mount.
