I have two subs on my account, WoW1 and WoW2. WoW1 is inactive and WoW2 has Midnight on it. However, I have some old toons I’d still like to have. Is there a way for a GM or someone to merge them into WoW1 and apply any unused time from WoW2 to that one?
Don’t take any action before talking with me and letting me what can be done.
I did look at the ticket center, but didn’t see a way to submit. None of the categories fit this particular issue. So, a simple yes or no answer, with instructions if required, would be great.
No, I’m afraid not. Game Masters can’t merge accounts.
Since the Wow licenses are on the same Battle.net account you can use a Character Service to move whichever characters you want over. You cannot transfer characters to licenses that are a higher expansion level, but if WoW#2 is the one with Midnight, you could transfer from WoW#1 to WoW#2.

Wait… the character I need to trasnfer from wow1 to wow2 is on a WoW Classic ERA rp server. They level 60. I don’t see such a service on battle.net. Is she stuck forever? Do I have to delete and reroll on the other sub? I don’t need to change servers, just the sub.
Unfortunately that is correct. There are no transfers available on Era.

You would indeed either need to reroll on your other license or add money to the first to continue playing that character.
Edit: if you purchased the character transfer already and you won’t need it, make sure you put on for a refund.

Well! That stinks. My issue is, I have two sets of friends I play with now, but I can only afford one sub. =/
Sorry, Nanette, when you mentioned Midnight I thought you were referring to Modern World of Warcraft characters. As Jeysca indicated there is not currently an option to transfer characters on those versions of the game between WoW licenses on the same Battle.net account.
Will that always be so? I couldn’t say for certain but that is how it was set up originally. Sorry.
