Yes but you need engineering to mount it. (Same as in retail)

Just realized that my mammoth vendor mount will be available on all my guys, and not just the one I bought it with.

This is good change. I have 4 engineers and only 1 has epic copter. Mats are crazy to farm.

I have two with the turbo charged flying machine, and another who has the skill for it, but it’s just too expensive to make now. I estimated that the mats are 10k+ on my server. So I bought the cheapy swift wind rider just to have epic flying but it never felt right.
I’ve been holding off on buying the Mammoth until account wide mounts, thinking that would arrive in Cata. Seems like a waste to have it on just one. I have a character that will be revered with Kirin Tor right around the time the new phase goes live to buy it. Woot!
They’re both account wide.
Flying Machines require engineering to use and will still require that.
The Motorcycles aren’t engineer specific mounts so any character can use them.
This and 310 mounts is my favorite part of this.

Glad that you like it. I hate this sort of change, and it’s exactly the type of thing that detracts from my personal enjoyment of the game, and overtime lead to my no longer caring about characters and just stopping playing in Retail.
Will it be the change that stops my enjoying Wrath Classic? Who knows, but it isn’t just 1 thing, it’s a combination of several things…
Yea, I can play Classic Era if I want to play without these things, and Retail for the conveniences of things like rated Solo Shuffle queues…
We’ll see if that keeps me going, but for the record, I’m disappointed with this change.

Since every of my alts is xmute master/engineer and if I was you I’ll be full of enjoyment to farm khorium for days on a continent of expansion that I’m tired of 
It should be. All mounts will be account wide (even horde or alliance) but I think the restrictions are still there as far as usability (mounts either horde or alliance only and mounts tied to crafting professions) and fast flying is not account wide nor is cold-weather flying.
