At one time, I thought we had an option to transfer a character to a different account that was tied to you battle.net account AND faction change at the same time.
Is this no longer an option? I noticed that if I select a realm change I have the option to faction change but when I select to a different account, the option to faction change goes away.
Did you start out with the faction change first, I would try that. I’m not sure about it now that the system is completely in game now.
Also bear in mind the destination account needs to be at least the same expansion level as the original account. So even if you are transferring a 105 from a BFA account to a non upgraded account, I do not believe it will work. Somebody will correct me on that if I am wrong though.
We didn’t, actually. It has never been possible to do an account-to-account transfer and a faction change at the same time. Only realm-to-realm can be bundled with the faction change.
Looks like I will have to do the faction change and then wait the 72 hour cooldown before I can do the account transfer…
No, you can also do account to account as long as both are under the same exact name with the faction change. I’ve done it myself. No need to wait for the 72 hour cooldown if you do the combination.
