Account Suspension for Son

Hello,

I am writing to respectfully appeal my son’s recent account suspension. I believe the action was triggered by multiple coordinated player reports rather than an actual violation of the Code of Conduct.

I kindly ask that a Game Master manually review the relevant chat and gameplay logs for this case. I am confident this review will confirm that he did not engage in any behavior warranting suspension. I am posting on his behalf since he is unable to even post here to get a human GM to review this account action.

His info:
Battletag - Galzareth#1549
Ticket #US106077655

We fully support Blizzard’s efforts to maintain a positive community and would never intentionally disrupt that environment. Our only request is for a fair, human review to ensure the action was not the result of mass-report abuse.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Marroweter#1357

You’ll need to submit an appeal ticket from the account restrictions page.

EDIT: Oh, you already have. Well, just going to have to wait on the reply back.

Hi @Akukama-frostmourne

Thanks for the reply, He did do that (Ticket #US106077655) but only received an automated reply.

Thank you.

The replies aren’t automated. They’ve used templates in their responses, but I can guarantee, they are real humans on the other end.

Lets see if we can try and help out a little bit here for you for your son: What was the reason given in the email for the account suspension?

I’m afraid only your son can do that on his account through the Account Restrictions page.

That isn’t really a thing. I know it is a common narrative that is normally blamed for any penalty that an account earns, but in the majority of cases the account is simply reported. They aren’t mass reported and even if they were, the chat that was reported is verified before any action is taken.

I can assure you, there is cause for the action taken.

From what I can see an appeal was put in already, that will be reviewed. I would highly recommend against him putting in a ticket in all caps. >.<

No, I’m sorry, but he didn’t. He put in a ticket under “ongoing harassment” and thus was provided a template response with advice on how to handle and report harassment. The new ticket is under the suspension appeal heading and therefore would be looked at with that in mind.
