Account Suspension for Inactivity

I have been inactive on WoW since February and my account has been suspended/locked. I am attempting to get back into WoW but now I need my suspension to be lifted. I submitted a ticket but nobody has responded. Please help!

Accounts are not suspended for not being logged into in a long time. An account lock typically means that you just need to reset the password to get back in.

A suspension tends to mean that there was recent activity on the account that resulted in account actions.

What makes you think that the account is suspended?

I don’t see that it was suspended, Hotshot, just locked for verification. That tends to happen when we believe the account was compromised (not in the hands of the registered user).

I am not sure, I have not been on since February. I have reset my password and applied the authenticator. Other than that, I do not even remember any actions that may have caused this to “lock” my account.

I can still access games that I currently play such as Call of Duty, but WoW does not let me upgrade or log in due to it being “locked”

GM help is required. It was locked for your protection.

I did look through all of the support articles and sent in a ticket. To my knowledge, I have done nothing to violate the Code of Conduct and checked my email for any suspension/locked activity. I found no email in the past 8 months stating that my account has been locked for WoW.

As I mentioned:

If the account was compromised and we detected it we would have locked the account to make sure no further damage could be done. The registered user, you, would be prompted to contact us to verify their identity so that we could release the account to them.

Please use the link in that support article I linked earlier. That will be the best means of submitting a ticket so that our staff can update your access as quickly as possible.
