Been pretty much max level for a while doing the occasional dailies.
Just got hit with a suspension for a month for account sharing. Very confused. Definitely did no such thing. There’s zero reason to.
What is the process to try and get these suspensions removed? It must be an accident. I’m super upset, the new raid drops tomorrow.
EDIT: Looks like a lot of people with active VPN’s have been hit with 30-day suspensions for account sharing. After a lot of research, opening a ticket for appealing, and staying very concise, will be the best way to approach it if you’re in the same shoes. It took one day for me to hear back on my initial appeal request (denied), but as mentioned here can take up to 4 days.

Well you wouldve recieved a email to apeal the bad news is tickets are averaging 4 days tho.

You would have received an email that outlines why the ban and how to appeal. You’ll need to open an appeals ticket.
This is ridiculous. It just says account sharing, and that this decision will not be changed.

Im hit with the same email. Ive literally been playing 24/7 and dont trust anyone with my account due to the money ive sank into it. Unauthorized Account Access says the email.
No chance in hell. i just submitted an appeal.

You can apeal till they say no other wise.

Nothing will be done about it over the forums. If you want to get it looked at, you’ll need to put in a ticket for it.

Tweeting wont expidite your ticket apealing the only way to go to get it overturned.

Yeah, no. The folks whom answer the account is the blues here. And they don’t answer to appeal tickets.

Okay thanks. It’s just incredibly frustrating that there’s nothing I can do, and this is obviously in error.

Your right it could be in error mistakes do happen thats what apeals are for a new GM will look at it everytime till they tell you no more apeals will be taken.

Did either of u by any chance do multiple x of that daily that kept repeating it self the other day.

No. Mine was because of account sharing. I installed WoW on my work computer which is VPN’d, so I’m thinking that might be the reason.

It wouldve been considered a exploit and blizzard maybe starting to punish the people that exploited it but thats only herasy.
Do you use the same VPN over and over again or does it frequently change.
Ye i use a VPN for netflix for regional stuff to be viewable and forget to switch it off sometimes, i stated that in my appeal. here’s to hoping.

Free trials on the good VPN’s are the only way to go.
