Account specific connection issues

Before this happened, I was trying to transfer valorstone across my characters, and log on and off cuz I didnt know that I could not do this while staying online with the characters transferring from. But once I finished transferring, I found out that I cannot log back into my main as the game keeps telling me disconnected from the server or whatever. I tried restarted the battle net account, and the nightmare begins. I just cant log into the battle net client, on any of my device(my PC and my mac and also my phone), with my wifi or personal hotspot(cellular data), and such connection issue is SPECIFIC to the account that I was playing. I had an alt, and I can log into that perfectly with no issues. The only thing I can do rn is logging into my bnet account on the website. It is really frustrating, as I dont know if this is going to be a sign of me getting perma banned(account specific connection issue just feel like that). I searched with the error code, BLZBNTBGS80000011, and tried almost everything that seems like a solution, but unfortunately nothing works. Is there any similar cases like this that eventually got a solution?

I don’t know what you did transferring valorstones, I simply click on the currency and scroll down to transfer and it gives me the other characters name without logging on and off.

Your thoughts run together a bit , but I think the crux is you can log your alt and not your main, which indicates to me the battle.net account is working for some characters.
If (although you said you cant) you cam open the support site and try the stuck character service on your main. You may be somewhere that is glitched.
I do not know why your online website wouldn’t work if you can log in the game, I don’t think wow bans you from your account information for example.

Thx for your reply! Just for some clarification: I have an alt bnet that is working totally fine, but my main bnet is the one having connection issue. I can log into bnet website and is able to submit ticket there, the issue seems to only happening when I tried to log into bnet client or even just the games. I have tried the character unstuck:(

Sounds like you need to move this thread to the technical support or customer service section so a blue can respond.

They are also aware of known issues that players are not. But this does sound more like an account specific issue they may need to look into

One thought I can offer you, which may not be the problem, is when patch 11.1.5 came out it borked your firewall permissions in your antivirus. I have seen this happen where if you don’t have a permissions page on you antivirus , you need to wait for an update,

If wow perma banned you , you would get an official email PDQ.

Also what shifty said, you should put this in tech support forum.

If any of that was the problem he would have the same issue on both accounts.

These issue the op is having is account specific. Like I said they really need to move their thread to the technical support or customer service section. Because the sounds like some type of account provisioning bug

I am making the assumption the 2 accounts are on different computers ( work and home for example) If that is not the case please ignore.

Thx! I have moved the thread to technical support

Wouldn’t hurt to also create a thread under the customer service section. I’m not sure if this is really customer service though since it’s not a payment issue or something

I did submit a ticket through the CS tho but haven’t created a forum thread. I was able to have a game master confirm that there are no penalties or restrictions put on my account, and they also reset the password + clear the cache of my account on their end. But unfortunately the issue still persist :frowning:

The error for being suspended/banned would be specific, not the code you received.

It would also show in account management.

My suggestion is to completely log out of all systems, and change your password, see if it pushes an account refresh. Maybe wait a bit, sometimes password resets can take 30 minutes to propagate across systems. Then login again from scratch, reenter your email address and new password into the app launcher.

I know you also said you did a lot of it, but if nothing else go through the support page and try again.

Hopefully it will not remain this way until next maintenance. I would also post in the bug report forum.

Doing so in that case would be redundant since you submitted a ticket.

I wish you the best of luck getting your specific issue resolved

Unfortunately the issue still persist by now :sob:, and I have changed everything that I could on my end…

Update: I try to log in directly through the game (.exe file), and still it instantly disconnects me with error code: BLZ51900001. I tried logging into the game with my other bnet account and still its working. When I search the error code over the forum, I found a post similar to my situation: Can't log in (BLZ51900001)
According to the blue replying in that post, there was an issue affecting the authentication server. Could this be the case for my account?

Should not be. Much like in the case if the post you referenced, that was service wide and impacted a good amount of players until resolved. If it was service wide, these forum and Customer Support would likely be spammed.

Could it be some sorts of authentication errors or bugs associated with my account specifically on Blizzard’s end? I just dont know what to do at this point (T_T)

Have a good night

Latest Update:
Upon reviewing the bnet logs, I spotted a few lines that might tell where the problem is. One of them is
[BNSessions] {Main} |event=Session creation failure.|identity=account_id: 387118162 game_account { id: 973967992 title_id: 4288624 region: 2 } instance_id: “8367213A681AAC3C-000000000002581A” region: 2|code=ERROR_INTERNAL (1)

This error code shows a session creation failure, along with my specific account id and game account, which is probably why the issue is account-specific. I think it is pointing to a authentication error with the account at blizzard server, but not 100p sure.

Have you tried removing the authenticator from the account ?
