Can you please assist, I can not seem to get assistance (besides a cookie cutter response) when I submit a ticket in WoW. On an old account I owned, I was forced to abandon due uncertainty of medical conditions (multi organ transplant) and made a what I thought was a temporary account under my spouse’s Bnet. On the old account I spent an embarrassing amount of money on TCG cards for the in game content. I survived the surgeries, died twice, and have now recovered. Is there any way to combine the accounts or transfer TCG items? I can supply all account info, Authenticators, and proof of purchases and surgery if needed.
Anything that would be account bound can not be transferred if it is bound to that account. For instance, some pets can be caged and sold, or mailed to a different character (barring of course the normal mailing rules).
I am glad to hear of your recovery though, sorry the answer is not likely what you were hoping for. Hopefully you are no longer using your spouses account though.
On top of what Kozzae said, you’ll probably want to use the old account in it’s entirety. The only time an account can be shared is between a parent/guardian and a child. Technically you’re breaching that and putting your spouse’s account in jeopardy. And no, you will not be able to transfer characters from their account to your own. The only time characters can be transferred between accounts are if both accounts are in the same name.
And just to be clear, this is a player to player discussion forum only, and I am only a fellow player, with just a different text. The answer you received might have looked cookie cutter, but the answer would still apply in this case.
Hopefully you were able to recover your original account, that part I guess I am not clear on if you need further assistance, beyond the transferring of bound items.
Only problem with merging is the account under your spoouses bnet would not have the names matching. They have to match for them to be able to merge accounts.
Not the only problem. Battle.net account-bound items for the wow license would not transfer to a wow license on a different battle.net account.
Way bigger problem than that. Blizzard does not allow Bnet account sharing. Period. The one exception is that a parent can, and should registered a Bnet account in the name of the parent for a minor to play. The parent accepts all responsibility for the minor and can/should set up Parental Controlls.
The OP should never have been on her Husband’s Bnet account.
What would be best is to recover her old account and she plays on that.
Even if they would move the license to his Bnet account (which they won’t), almost everything for pets/mounts/toys/achievements is Bnet account bound and would stay behind.
What she COULD do though is move a character from her current license on her Husband’s Bnet to her old Bnet license. That just requires same last names and is a paid service she can do herself once she has access to the old Bnet account and re-activates the license. She would need to have both at the same expansion level of course, but that is easy to do.
