Account recovery

Just tried to get my account back after not playing since mists of pandaria. ive had this account since vanilla wow. i dont have access to the email the account is under anymore. and ive provided that information along with most of the information required for account recovery. i dont have access to the cd keys anymore or the authenticator. ive written to customer support a dozen times and keep getting the same copy and paste answers back asking for the things i do not have access to. support is worthless.

I’m not too sure how you expect them to be able to help you find the account you lost without knowing some of the basic details for it.

Unfortunately, they don’t tend to just hand over accounts to people who claim that they belong to them without being able to prove it’s theirs.

Nonetheless, there are no GMs on the forums so your only option is to try and work with them via tickets.

Not worthless, they just can’t prove your account owner. There doing there job.

How are you replying to the questions? If you have been replying via the email they are going to the void.

You need to reply in a ticket. You can either make a new ticket and reference the original, or make a new bent account for the express purpose of tracking the tickets a little easier.

Problem here is almost none of your answers are correct, Anthreps.

That said, I did manage to find two other Battlenets that are likely suspects.

The one under the old email you listed in your ticket looks to have been compromised - and banned in 2010.

I’m not entirely sure that’s the one you are looking for given the characters you listed in your ticket.

Even if we manage to piece together your answers from your tickets - and accept them, there are still two Battlenet accounts involved that will need new email addresses.

Edit: Ok, I just had a chat. We’ll be able to do something with these - but you will need to give us two emails to use for these 2 Battlenet accounts - emails NOT currently in use on any other Battlenet account. If you could open a ticket with those emails, we’ll see what we can do.
