I’m going to keep it simple on my Xbox i played diablo 3 and later overwatch 2 when it released. i only had the physical copy of diablo 3 so i didn’t have a receipt for it especially since that was probable close to 8 years ago now. and so i official created a battle net account when overwatch 2 released which properly connected my diablo account to my Xbox account i also added a 2fa and my then phone number. I no longer have access to said phone nor phone number or that 2fa due to a sudden break that i could not get fixed and i cannot remember the password or security question. i have gone to support again for like the 3rd time i think but they keep giving me impossible questions such as transaction id from purchases (there have been none online since i dont spend on in game currencies) serial number on physical and digital 2fa which i dont even have physical and no access to digital. previous battle tags which should only be one name but i doubt that will make them happy. physical address associated with account i doubt i changed it but at the same time i doubt they will accept it and i also have moved a lot in the past 10 years. previous phone number, i already said i dont have access nor remember it. and answer to security question which they have not shown. and something about wow and hearthstone account stuff which i had never had before.
So please any ideas what can i do. what is something i can do to get access to my account on pc. Oh and i do still have access to the Xbox and its account that held these games along with the ability to go on those 2 games and play them so if i could convince them to send something through those games onto that account that would be amazing
Oh and one final note the email its on is a Hotmail email so i have difficulties with putting it in since its not acceptable.
Oh i just realized where i posted this. but still if anyone here can help with account problems please do
Try to answer the questions asked.
Blizzard needs to you to prove account ownership.
You seem to have an incredible amount of road-blocks put up. No longer access to the phone, can’t remember secret question answer, no longer having the transaction details / produce CD-KEY etc.
It would be very unlikely Blizzard will bypass their policies and give you access to the account if you’re unable to answer the questions they have asked.
For all they know, you could be anyone - and the bad actors that thrive on gaining account for gold selling will do anything to get accounts.
You could be a disgrunted ex-partner out to get revenge.
These scenarios are very, very real - and reasons why Blizzard has a very strict hardline approach.
Sounds like they’re trying to work with you - but ultimately if you can provide the answers, I think you won’t get the account.

Nephe basically covered everything.
Ill add that make sure you are responding to the questions via tickets and not replying to the DoNotReply email. It’s a little hard to parse if you still have access to the battlenet account. If you are unable to reply on that account, you can create a new one to keep track of tickets and reference the first ticket number and Battlenet account.

k thank you both its nice to hear a human input cause it just feels like im going in circles and i have made sure to put the response in through there im just looking for the final thing that i can put in then ill pray.
I can try and explain some of this.
For Diablo 3, the game shares cross platform progress, but requires separate copies to be bought for each platform. For playing on Battlenet, you would need to have bought D3 for PC.
- Usually that would be bought from the Blizzard Shop online which would generate a transaction ID. I believe a copy of that transaction ID would have been emailed to you when you bought D3 for PC from the Blizzard shop. You can’t play D3 on PC without buying it for PC so there had to be a transaction somewhere.
- The Authenticator app has a serial number and restore code in it that you write down somewhere safe in case you lose your phone or need to re-install it. You would have had to get that when you still had your old phone and access to the app.
- Physical address matching the account is helpful, if you know it.
- The questions are generic for everyone, so if you don’t know some, or did not play some of the games, just write N/A there.
Do you still have access to the email on the Battlenet Account? Do you remember what that was?
Was the Battlenet account created in your real name? In some cases they will accept Govt issued ID matching the account name.
If you have nothing on that Battlenet besides D3 and OW2 - and already have access to both on Xbox, there may be no real point in getting access again, unless you are trying to play on PC for some reason.
Honestly this is a great forum to post on. It is an Information Desk to help folks navigate Support, answer policy questions, answer account services questions, etc. People here are quite familiar with Blizzard policies and can at least give you some info.
When Blues are in they may be able to check your ticket and see if there is some guidance they can offer.
Others have already given great advice! Please listen to them. Esp about making sure not to use the do not reply email and citing the previous ticket number in your new ticket.
If you have nothing on that Battlenet besides D3 and OW2 - and already have access to both on Xbox, there may be no real point in getting access again, unless you are trying to play on PC for some reason. So, it may be that this is not a super big deal and there is nothing lost on the Battlenet account seeing as you have Xbox access.
