Can I kindly have someone take a look at my account and validate if it’s correctly stood up? I came back to WOW a few weeks ago and started playing again and for some reason it feels like it’s bugged. I have paid for a 3 month subscription.

U need game time on ur account for 30days before that gets lifted this is due to curb stolen accounts and other nefarious activities.

Then you should be close to expiring from the restrictions, should be 26 days of game time consumed from when your paid time started.
You also may have solo self found activated. That game mode does NOT allow the usage of the things you mentioned.
Nothing the document that a CSR is bound to post declares that players cannot mail between their own characters yet that restriction exists. Remove that and many people might put up with paying full price for half an experience
If you have feedback, you’d want to take it to the classic general forum. CS has zero to do with how the game works.
It says mail. That means all mail. If you could mail between your characters it would say so.
" you cannot trade with other players nor use the mail or the Auction House."
By your logic you should be able to buy your own auctions off the AH.
