Account is Completely missing from Battle.net

My account is missing entirely from the battle.net launcher and the battle.net website. I got an email saying my account subscription had been canceled and I had until the 26th to continue playing, and then upon trying to log in a day or so later, the account was completely missing from both battle.net and from the launcher. It is not on either drop down, however, I can still clone the characters to the PTR, and my forum character is still from that account. Any help would be appreciated, I opened a ticket US87655296 but have not heard anything back.

Hm, that is admittedly a new one.

I know ticket times right now are off the chain. The SFAs have gone home for the evening, but perhaps when they return to the office in the morning, they will poke their head in here and can give you some insight as to what exactly is going on.

Are you positive you are logging in to the correct battle.net account?

I only have 1 battle.net account, so yes, it is the right one. I am posting from a character who is on the account that is missing.

The SFAs here went home hours ago, so you might not get a response til later in the morning. The forums aren’t usually staffed 24/7

I do see this open, Cammypally.

I suspect this happened when you requested your account be deleted -then decided against it. Either the process had started, or they missed one on the restore.

Ticket looks like we have all the info we need, so just leave that open - although it will be a bit, this is only about a day and a half old. Normally we’d be to it already, but as you probably know, queue times are quite long at the moment.

Actually all the account deletions and restoration attempts were due to me trying to get the service to restore itself somehow. This happened after my other ticket got a response. I am genuinely curious as to what could have caused this

As am I. I’m making a couple presumptions based on the timing - and the requests that seemed to have surrounded it.

I got an email saying my subscription was canceled shortly before I got the ticket response about my other account, and then just poof it was gone. It seemed like the account had just been manually removed or something, maybe some kind of mistake when closing the previous ticket, but I don’t know enough about yalls systems to draw that conclusion.

Im kinda confused i thot account deletions were permanant or did he sucessfuly cancel within the 30 days and it still went thru.

There is an extremely short window of time they can be reversed, but that should never be relied upon - especially now.

I want to point out that at no point did I put in a request, or make a request, for WoW1 in the US region to be deleted. The only ones I used were on starter accounts that didn’t have characters on them. The one that might specifically cause confusion is my WoW1 account from the EU region, which I don’t remember how I got that on there, but removed it with the thought that maybe having two WoW 1 accounts was causing some kind of problem.

Yeah, I’m not positive either, Cammypally. I’m just making a partial assessment based on the notes. They should be able to fix this up.

If time is a factor as you seem to indicate, is there any way to escalate this request so I don’t suffer any data loss?

Having someone look at this, it’s a little more complex than usual.

Yes, you mean 20 days + average wait time ? I opened a ticket days ago , and the average wait time on my ticket doesnt even decreases , it goes up ! when I started my ticket it was at 19 days, now its almost 25 days, and its extremely frustrating, you should say that instead of a ‘‘bit’’.

That isn’t a countdown, it’s what the oldest ticket in the system. The current time to get a turnaround on a ticket is 7 to 10 days now.
