I’ve been trying to log in for some time and I’m getting en error message saying my bnet account doesn’t exist.
I thought that maybe somehow someone changed it and I used the sms method to recover w/e new email could be now in there but it’s the same as always, nothing was changed.
It’s odd my bnet account “doesn’t exist” but I’m posting here, what’s going on?
Did you log into your forum account or were you already logged in, Andor? Looking up the name on this account I can see four other Battle.net accounts that share the same name and it seems the same location.
That’s 3 different Hotmail addresses and 2 Gmail.
The account you are currently logged into on the forums does have an active WoW account, so I assume you are attempting to access that one through Battle.net. I can’t really post account-specific information on the forums so the best I can tell you that the account name starts with an M and is a @hotmail account.
I was about to delete this thread, what a bizarre situation. I don’t know about the other 4 bnet accounts lol but somehow resetting my password fixed it.
Not sure what happened here, it’s the same email I’ve been using for a long time.
If someone hacked in and changed the password I think I should have gotten en email about it?
If someone did that then you should scan your system, Add an authenticator and secure your email address. Suggest gmail as you can link it with google with your phone and have it secure against anyone else.
If not and they did get into your account they will be back! Not if they WILL.
