good day everyone,
sad story i try to be short, am not here to play victim .just gathering information / help trying so so so hard to fix my situation. i have been playing WoW for about 12 years , i have never cheated or used any programs or Apps , i dont know how they work, where to get them or even their names except few words Flyhack and BoT, known by reputation as common topics in the community.

on June 12 i received a Mail on my main account saying “” account closure , exploit and hacks"" but after 6 minutes i received another mail saying “” closure overturned “”" and my main account is still working fine until today.

on June 13-14 i created multiple accounts preparing for TBC, i was buying mage boosts ingame like usual, i use /follow Xcharacter macro , i press it manually on WoW tabs and then i drive my last character that way all alts can follow when i move in / out of dungeons etc, cause driving them 1 by 1 is painful.

i reached level 47 on all of them, was buying mage boost in Maraudon until i received mails on all of them saying " account closure , exploit cheat programs etc “”
i saw on reddit, youtube , discord, many people got false flagged all of them for exploit and cheats, so i gave it 24 hours to get auto-overturned like it happened to me 2 days before. but nothing.

i appealed and GM replied said “”" Following a review of your case, we can confirm that the evidence presented was correct and the penalty will be upheld.
Please be aware that we only review penalties once. Any additional requests on this topic will not be considered, and the case will be closed. “”"

i heard that some addons or windows apps can falsely trigger a false detection,
i am using Speedy auto loot and Dejunk addons, they are great to fast loot+vendor+organize bags .
i am using HWinfo.exe to monitor PC performance + temperature and ISLC ( intelligent standby list cleaner ) to auto-clear cached RAM to have more free ram when am multitasking.
i made a video explaining to GMs how i was playing my characters and begged them to review, they cannot open links, they will not review my case again, they closed my tickets.

what am i supposed to do here please ? am not mad because the mistake happened, am really mad because they confirmed am cheating without letting me explain myself.
please help

i am willing to share my screen, and give access to my PC for GMs to help them find out what flagged my ban, that way they can prevent other people closures by mistake.

thats the big question that am trying to find out, is it manual multiboxing ?
it it loot addon ? is it vendor addon ? is it the ISLC cache cleaner ?
am afraid if i create more accounts they will be flagged in the way and lose them again
which is weird

the problem is, everyone who reads their reply drop their hand and accuse me for cheating,

Not really. If an addon is problematic, Blizzard will make changes to their sandbox that addons operate under.

If an addon required an external .EXE file, then that could pose issues.

Only addon I’ve seen lately that can lead to account action are RP profile ones, where the player has put inappropriate stuff on them.

They will only investigate their logs. Outside evidence, like videos, screenshots etc can easily be edited or produced to not show the full story.

Are all your accounts using your real information (name etc)?

An appeal is not for you to plead your case, it’s for Blizzard hacks team to go over the logs and what was detected on your computer or in-game.

i have no idea what that is, am just using some UI addons like weakaura , leatrix plus, and some loot addon like Dejunk , speedyautoloot
nothing fancy but idk

no i never use my id on anything on the internet, only my banks. especially on video games.

While multiboxing is allowed, you can’t do anything at all to streamline it. Not hardware, not software, not operating systems. Nothing. You need to actually do it all manually.

Yes, there can be false positives where they realize a mistake in the detection criteria was made, they update the criteria, run the scan again, and unban the impacted group.

That can take time usually - as in up to a week.

All you can do is appeal via the ticket system. If you were multiboxing but not streamlining it in any way, not running Autohotkey or anything else in the background… then hopefully they find it was a false positive.

Again, appeals are your only option and the Forum Support Agents can’t give any details on the anti-cheat categories of penalties.

Without me looking these up, what do these do? The game already has built in auto loot and auto sell junk. It is one button press.

Please tell me these don’t replicate an action across all your characters with one button press. That would absolutely be against the rules.

Then you were absolutely in violation of the rules you agreed to. This will make recovering your account more difficult. We are required to use our real names. If you’re not following that rule…it makes one believe there may be others you’re not following too :frowning:

Reopen your appeal. That’s all you can do and you’ll need a lot of luck to get a positive outcome if you didn’t use your real name either.

No, Blizzard does not accept videos and I don’t generally follow links. Not that I work for Blizzard, but still.

Please answer the question about the addons that I edited into my post. I think you replied while I was editing. Heh

Oh, and yes, you are required to use your real name and info when making a Battlenet account. Failure to do so can result in the account being closed if they look into it for some reason.

didnt understand what that means.

my tickets got replied to, all tickets expire in year 10,000 and i cannot reopen or comment, just see the comments. am stuck.
i even sent a mail to Hacks@blizzard.com begging them

You are required to use your real name when creating an account. You chose not to and violated the rules. But you want us to believe you didn’t violate any rules after admitting you did.

That’s for reporting cheating and hacks and is not responded to nor is it looked at for appeals. Your email was likely removed/delete as it wasn’t regards to the proper reason for that address.

Posting about account actions on the forums is also technically against the rules…so you’re still breaking the rules.

RE-open your ticket or open a new one. If you’ve been told it will not be overturned and that you may be further actioned…then you’re welcome to start a NEW account under your REAL name and start over.

Blizzard has, and will, ban accounts that have been found to contain bogus/false account information of the player. Particularly lately.

That definitely sounds a little sketchy. In any event, if it only resides in the Addon folder and nowhere else, then it can only do the things Blizzard allows. If you set it up outside of the game or it gets installed somewhere other than the addon folder…that isn’t good.

No matter what, despite anything said here, none of it matters really as appeals are only done via tickets, not via the forums.

i didnt know that was a MUST be done. but why i get banned for cheats because i dont have my real name linked in, doesnt make sense

Just to be clear…there’s no need for me to watch any youtube links. I don’t tend to give clicks/views to these sorts of issues. If it resides in the Addon folder, then it wasn’t that addon that got you into trouble.

okey, all my addons are downloaded from curseforge, they are very famous addons , installed in wow interface addon folder.

This is not Diablo 2, there is no loot to fight over. Everyone gets personal loot off mobs. I have no idea why this exists, although I see it is on curseforge. Since 2018 with a recent update even.

It seems to remove some of the looting UI I guess, but that is already done with auto loot in game so this does not seem to be needed. I guess the “inventory is full” ping might be useful but beyond that. IDK. Odd.

You must never use fake names on your accounts so that would be the big deal breaker for blizzard, they could also have sent wrong template response. However I believe the action would be justified just for that. Using fake names is what hackers and bots use to get around in game rules until they are banned.

Legally, you’re supposed to use your correct information for your account details.

When you create or update an Account, you must:

  1. provide Blizzard with accurate and up to date information that is personal to you, such as your name, address, phone number, and email address. Additionally, in order to play certain Games or use certain features offered on the Platform, you may also be required to provide Blizzard with payment information (such as credit card information). Blizzard’s retention and/or use of your personal information is subject to Blizzard’s Privacy Policy, located here. Blizzard shall also have the right to obtain non personal data from your connection to the Platform; and

Thing is, you can’t. Blizzard never accepts any player evidence when appealing, as these can be fabricated. Blizzard goes fully by their own logs.
