Our raid leader got banned for having all gears BIS(WCL Perf Avg 96.8)? now we’re clueless why he got banned, we’ve been raiding MC and BWL for months and suddenly he got banned.
Please remove his ban so we can continue our BWL raid and not delaying our ZAQ raid as well. There’s no RMT or GKDP involved with his account for sure, we are all regular WOW player that level, raid and PVP. There’s no RMT or GDKP involved with his account for sure. Thank you in advance and have a nice day.
As honorable as ur intentions ar blizzard not gona take ur word for it they go by logs there logs and it would have nothing to do with his gear. The email wouldve said for cheating or currency etc they dont ban on gear.
There is a difference between ‘ban’ and ‘suspension’. Players tend to use them interchangably. But, here a ban is permanent. This is reserved for hardcore cheaters or bad repeat offenders. A suspension has an end time. Depending on the offense the duration can vary. But repeated suspensions tend to stack in duration and will eventually, if the behavior is not changed, end in a full ban.
You cannot help you Guild Leader except to tell them to appeal and if they are looking for a bit more insight, they can post here themselves and a Blue can sometimes provide that insight.
Hey, did your guild leader happen to use software that unlocks usage of protected lua functions? I keep tabs on what cheaters are up to and there was a banwave a few days ago on some particular software.
Either that or my other question is did they receive gold from surreptitious toons that may have conducted botting?
Love that you want to help…providing the world half of their login information is a great way to help the account get hacked though.
Nobody has ever been banned for having BiS. Ever. If that’s what your guild leader told you, then they are not being honest. Not only that, Blizz would never give that sort of detail.
Your guild leader would have received an email with the type of account action they received along with instructions on how THEY can appeal it.
Nowhere in those instructions did it say, ‘Have your guildies post your private email address on the public forums.’
Please let your Guild Leader know that they absolutely should secure their email now, change the email associated with their battle.net account and ensure that account is secure too.
