If someone has downloaded an addon from Curse and are using it from within the Blizzard addons folder, people aren’t going to get suspended for that. I was addressing the fact that the person I replied to seemed concerned about using a specific addon, so I checked, and it is one that can be downloaded from Curse. Blizzard has repeatedly said, if it’s a legit addon, players have nothing to worry about, since they play within Blizzard’s sandbox, and they have full control over players using it or not (ie, they can break its functionality). If it’s a 3rd party program that doesn’t get installed to and run from within the Blizzard addons folder, that’s where issues arise.
