So last night I accidentally redeemed my mythic crests for heroic crests. Is there any way to fix that mess up. It seems completely ridiculous that you can even do that in the game and it’s an option at the vendor.
No there isnt unless its within the 2hr return period.
If they’re talking about runed and gilded harbinger crests, there is no buyback window for those. There are confirmation windows, however.
It is not something CS or a game master can assist with, I’m afraid.
It’s an option available because there are times during the game where you acquire crests higher than you can use at that time, such as the raid quest to defeat the Queen. Not everyone just sits on those until they can be used.

It’s generally used by people who are running higher-end content, but need to upgrade lower-end gear.
I have friends who’d made frequent use of that exchange.

I’ve used it myself to downgrade crests because the RNG God refused to drop upgraded bracers for me. I had veteran level bracers while heroic raiding. I finally gave up and crafted bracers, lol
I crafted bracers with 2nd spark, since that’s a convenient place to put the writhing armor patch.
