The issue wasn’t with the word wife, it was with the objectification of “the wife” vs “my wife”. If your wife is ok with you using dehumanizing language that’s your prerogative. But if she’s still reading these threads tell her to check out “Why does he do that?” I think she’ll finally get some answers she’s been seeking.

Hopefully blizz will listen and either lock both behind PF or unlock both. I recognize the coreway is a bit of an experiment, and I definitely prefer having skyriding immediately, but I don’t understand the choice to gate the (imo) inferior flight style behind the story achievement.

Maybe Blizzard needs to hire some people with actual disabilities to explain it to them. They are clearly out of touch with this community. It’s insulting actually.

THAT is the real issue here…it IS an insult.
Everyone can get PF…but its INSULTING to the REASONABLE, RATIONAL mind for the able bodied to get their car handed to them for nothing…then making the disabled walk a mile for their wheelchair.

The level of nonsense at this point being spewed in this topic is mind blowing. Way to much over bloviated nonsense. To the point its not even at an intelligent level of discussion. Its just a lot of noise. And its not going to change what the design team already had planned, if they are removing pathfinder completely from the game come Midnight xpac then its gone and they are doing it without any consideration to any further discussions on the forums and probably really never had anything to do with many of them.
If they have chosen to keep pathfinder and use it again, then still its not because anyone is telling them too. Its their choice to do so. Everyone is just along for the ride. That is the way I dealt with the changes in retail WoW over the past 20 years. The realization that right down to it, I am just a number nothing else, and I am just along for the ride. Either I play the game or not, that is the only say I have in it, in the long run. And actually that the truth when it comes to everyone else. We can complain all we want or clap our hands, but at the end of the day, the choice of the game and what is done in it, is really out of our hands.

BS. They only move quickly for a tiny amount of time. Very sensitive people may get dizzy, but this cannot be compared to the effects that skyriding can cause. Skyriding can cause motion sickness in people that have never experienced any motion sickness in the game.

like that noise you all make railing on about Disabilities and steady flight when BOTH OF THOSE ARE DECIDED by Ion and crew already…and that part where YOU CANT keep on THE TOPIC HERE with is SOLELY ABOUT removing 5 hours of pathfinder?

What if they want skyriding as the experience and phase out steady flight altogether using TWW as a stepping stone in that direction? Who says they must have such a feature just for accessibility? How many features of how many games could you pick apart in an attempt to make every game playable by every person?
If they are hanging onto steady flight purely for accessibility reasons then it’s fair to show some concern about Pathfinder. But if not then this is simply up to how Blizzard sees the future of the game.

I believe once a player opens Pandora Box , than anything will come out of it … including some classes may cause motion sickness. There are some players who very sensitive to motion sickness.
