Accessibility should not have to be earned. Steady flying should be automatically available as an alternative

I think what blizzard is doing here may actually be against the law (the Americans with disabilities act).

I’m not a lawyer tho. There must be a lawyer who specializes in the ADA that sees this.

lol…this place is WORSE than twitter

Where in the constitution is the enshrined right to play video games?

Sounds more like a partnership where respect is valued very high.

Do whatever you want in your partnership. No need to behave like a bully. Oh wait… you ARE a bully.

The options in the menu do not work for everyone. I am one of the ones it doesn’t work for so try again.

All American businesses must reasonably accommodate people with disabilities when possible. It’s the law. Blizzard is clearly not being reasonable here.

Someone(s) brought that up inhere during dragonflight.
Id be VERY curious to see the results IF someone actually filed a complaint.

I said in here years back that the PC crap was GOING to hit this place hard sooner or later…and here we are.
I wouldnt be surprised if this issue gets enough attention, someone files a complaint and appropriate actions are taken

What I CANT believe is MiCROSOFT now owning this company and not stepping in to shut this down.

Ok how about you hire some lawyers, and Microsoft hires some lawyers and they can argue about what the word “reasonably” means here.

If such a law applied to pieces of art and entertainment, there be no more art or entertainment. A person with no arms could just file suit against the game not being controlled with their mind.

Microsoft makes a controller for people with no arms, they would just tell them to buy that.

I love dragonriding/skyriding and I’m a strong advocate for it, but I think that locking steady flight behind an achievement is just plain wrong. People can argue all they want that the achievement is easy to get, and while that’s definitely true, you should never have to unlock something that’s frequently used as an accessibility option to a lot of people.

Steady riding is in no way better and has no advantage over dragonriding, it should be a toggle from the start of the expac. There is literally no reason not to have this other than Blizzard’s weird design ego.

How about you mind your own business and go spend your free time doing something productive.

It’s not. The American law is much weaker than the German law and according to German law Blizzard is doing nothing wrong.

hardly. it sounds like a marriage based on fear anxiety and distrust.
Ive counselled marriages for 25 years now son…I know the warning signs when I see them
If youre THAT upset about ‘the’ versus ‘my’…sorry but your marriage is already in trouble.

Could this actually apply? Certain things don’t have to apply to this rule set. Games and sports usually don’t have to comply with ADA rules.

Damn bro lying on the internet again when it’s pretty clear you don’t have a job? Or are you one of those religious “marriage counselors” lol you know what licensed marriage counselors definitely don’t do? Insult other players on an online message board over arguments about how to fly your magic horsey.

Has someone already filed a complaint in Germany about this topic?

because there is attention to be had in here. lol

its all been covered…

They cant even stay on topic because they lose if they do…and if they lose they lose our attention as well…and we cant have that, now can we, lol

You have given your opinion on the game, so are we.
