Rather than Pathfinder as it is, create a ground mount tour of all of the flight paths in Khaz Al’gar, with small challenges (fights, puzzles, stay-a-while-and-listens) along the way, culminating in a mini-boss at the end, which then grants you static flying. Debuff during the tour that disables dynamic flight, to keep you on the ground and in the world, so to speak. That wouldn’t really be Pathfinding at all then, just a way to get all of the flight paths for all your toons, and at the end something that the devs think of as a legacy feature, but that disabled players think of as an accessibility feature.
While yes they made accessibility features for Skyriding, however you cleverly tangented to tbc flight which was never meant for accessibility.
It was never defined as such and only a very select few even call it that. More over, it being called that, by a select few, didn’t happen until dragonflight.
Prior, it was just flight. Now it is magically an accessibility feature. That is what rubs myself and many others the wrong way throughout the months of these posts.
Yet the main bully is not only allowed to keep posting, but also hyped up. And this is okay?
Its disengenuous when I am talking about a specific person or the handful that keep lying to then say “well everyone is doing it!”.
You are essentially saying it is okay for them to flame, bully, gaslighting and harass because others are doing so.
Instead, they should be reported and ignored, not hyped up. Sides shouldn’t matter, but clearly its okay for one to act this way, but not the other.
When originality dries up, they either regurgitate the same stuff in a slightly different format OR they will take away things only to reintroduce them later as “content.”
It’s just natural when there aren’t many creative brains working on a project.
They’ve been doing this type of design since 2014.
if they didnt have hyperbolic jokes to tell, theyd have nothing to say on the topic at all…
We’re asking for EQUAL TREATMENT…not anything more…
What disingenuous is THAT poster coming into these threads that have ZERO bearing in HIS game which in NO WAY is affected by a few HOURS of PF being removed for steady flight…yet perpetually coming in these threads to insult, demean and mock those having issues with skyriding.
exactly…
yes…they do…because they literally put accessibility settings FOR skyriding into the frikkin settings… https://imgur.com/XVNtkJb
as well as Ion saying it quite plainly…
https://youtu.be/Axbytwd84zU?t=1350
Ion H: “steady flight has its place, certainly for accessibility reasons”
https://youtu.be/ciYoLxIXxak?t=2170
Ion H: “some folks, for accessibility reasons, personal preference reasons, maybe you just like being able to afk in mid air…dragonriding isn’t your favorite, we dont want to take anything away.”
exactly.
IF EITHER should have PF its the flight mode that ISNT for disabled players, etc having issues with skyriding…
that poster knows all this…hes just here to post edgy crap for attention…they all are…
Steady Flight isn’t an accessibility option. It’s a feature in the game. You can use it as accessibility, but it doesn’t make steady flight an accessibility option.
For example, an MMO mouse can be a great aid to someone with one hand, but it’s still just a mouse designed for everyone.
But again, as I’ve said many times, I agree it shouldn’t be locked behind Pathfinder.
as long as it all applies to EVERYONE equally, Im good with it.
This pathfinder ONLY for those having trouble with skyriding is seriously questionable…and the attention trolls in here mocking disabled players just makes it all more disgusting…
Completely wrong, lame effort trying to put word in my mouth I did not say. Both sides of this argument are posting disingenuous post, just like your post to me.
Motion sickness is not, by any means, a disability unless your motion sickness triggers severe reactions like vertigo frequently, which is unlikely.
Maybe stop framing the fact that you get a little queasy playing the game as a reason for why Blizzard should cater to your whim, and people may be more willing to take your opinions on the matter more seriously lol
I swap a few times a day, but Ive just decided to let it go. Ion has to have his irritations in game for no other reason than to irritate. lol.
The toggle serves no valid purpose either…
ForumTroll: “but but but, its to keep you from changing too much”.
why…again? lol…what harm is caused by ALL of us having the EXACT same rules to follow?
If we can ALL swap back and forth the same then no one has advantage and so its meaningless.
its just there to annoy.
Pathfinder that targets disabled players, however…that is an abomination…as are the trolls who keep harassing, insulting, mocking and demeaning those having trouble with skyriding for their own perverse enjoyment.
Really? You told me what I was saying and it’s completely wrong. Lamely trying discredit me with a horrible interpretation or out and
Out trolling. Shame on you
