Accepting Queues to Avoid Death

okay. so tell me how it’s fair that players are able to accept queues while in combat. i understand the idea that if the player isn’t able to accept the queue in time they screw over the rest of their team in an instance, but it’s been abused beyond that. usually it’s just like “aw, what a puss” when someone cheats death with a queue but yesterday it was extremely slimy, with my group of 4 having 3 bounties (of course we’re going to lose them eventually but let’s imagine we wouldn’t have if you can manage that without making a snarky comment) and we were attacking horde and the very second i bursted them down to half health they disappeared. every single time i attacked someone. some people, like the shaman i attacked, did it twice. then, ten minutes later, they all phased in on top of us and rolled us over in a 10v4. i wouldn’t mind being rolled over by a 10v4, we deserved it, but they wimped out on being killed earlier by exploiting a game mechanic, and that’s what makes it frustrating. i don’t mind people grouping up, but it feels like we’re being cheated, people are able to slip away, avoiding what would have been their death with a game mechanic. clearly it’s being exploited, and a lot. so why can you still accept queues in combat? if stacking XP potions to level faster is a bannable offense i feel accepting queues to escape/postpone pvp is as well.

Horde wait times for BG are 10-15 minutes … if we can’t accept queues at any time then all we have to do is wait in cities or have WM off

no, but accepting queues in pvp combat solely to avoid said pvp is…you can read enough to finish the paragraph yet you glossed over the whole pt but whatever

No, it’s not…

arena queues can be instant sometimes, custom group finder queues can be instant, many times if you queue as a tank or healer for normal dungeons the queue can be instant, there are lots of ways to get fast queues.

Regardless of queue times, in no way, shape, or form is accepting a queue in combat an exploit…

Yes and it may not be instant … as I said making us not accept a queue at anytime would be disasterous .

Will be worst if people loose queues that they were waiting because someone is assaulting him. It’s the less bad option.

Someone cheating death isn’t new. Rogues and pallis have it built in.

Dude misses his 8 honor real bad lol

My theory is OP and his little squad were going for their Slayer titles. They were denied when their targets accepted queues, the returned later to wipe them. I’m guessing 8-9 of 10 kills, hence the high levels of salt in this thread.

“REEEEE, I was cheated out of my title”

Just a theory, of course…

This could be a real problem for some and we shouldn’t dismiss it just because it is a female gamer. I’m sure she is just frustrated with not being able to get the kill.

It’s pretty pathetic that most of you think this is an okay thing to do. You shouldn’t be playing in war-mode if you’re going to take an instant queue to save yourself from a wpvp death. Blizzard should make it to where people in war-mode shouldn’t be able to take a queue if they are in combat, pretty easy fix to the problem. If you guys cant handle it go back to carebear mode, thats why its there, for those of you that flee at the sight of any pvp.

We get you wanna defend you’re guildie and all, but he/she’s in the wrong.

This is nothing new since MoP / WoD whenever this started.

You wanna gank that person so bad, then camp the spot and wait.

A larger issue is Horde being able to take the alliance ashran portal in our portal room and we can’t take theirs. That’s what needs to be fixed.

I am 100% certain that I have done way more wpvp than you have. I’ve killed plenty, and done more than my fair share of corpse runs.

Just because we aren’t screaming “yeah, that’s totally an exploit” doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be in Warmode. You can call it cheesy, or call it cowardly, but it’s certainly not a bannable offense as OP suggested. The xp potion exploit was a terrible comparison.

The only thing pathetic is the QQ’ing being done by you and your guildy.

It takes 9 min to queue on the horde side…you better believe I am taking the q when it pops.

Queues should be allowed to enter while in combat, but if a player accepts a que while in pvp they should die on the spot and then resurrect in wherever they go.

Ahh man, I remember when alliance did this on my server. Well not all, I know. I’m specifically talking about a guild on my server, in WoD, that would come to Silvermoon daily. They’d queue up every time they were about to die, pop into a skirmish and avoid death. I know horde do it to, I don’t deny that. I’ve seen it on both sides. We’d just wait for them to come out of the arena. One day, one of their rogues did it for an hour straight, because in Silvermoon, on an rp server, they didn’t come out unflagged, like they would in say, Eversong. Was great to watch him come out, get focused down to 10 percent, only to see him poof into another arena. xD

So when horde are waiting for 10-15 minutes for a BG queue to pop, they should have WM off ?
