Abuse of Warmode assults

I agree, it is a bit lame that you need an incentive to turn wm on to begin with.

Either you turn it on and accept your fate at all times. Or turn it off and go back to that safe place where none of the evil horde can touch you.

It’s 385. Are we really still talking about this.

Didn’t Ion say it was close to even at the start but sharding tech made it seem like Alliance were out numbered. Which is what caused the whole issue in the first place. So cowardice didn’t have anything to do with it. You also aren’t the authority on why the Alliance where playing in war mode, you shouldn’t paint with such a broad brush.

Would you like to duel? 1v1.

It is still quite ridiculous that these rewards are in place though. And to be fair, I’ve seen nothing but toxic behaviour stem from it.
It’s not like we are seeing a lot of people turn on WM just to go about and do their daily tasks as per normal with just the chance of engaging in PvP combat.

Instead we are seeing LFG groups and people server hopping to highly dominant shards so that people can be farmed at WQs.

I think it’s highly damaging in general to wPvP, especially those who just want to leave it on and play the game normally with the occasional scuffle or small skirmish.

As Alliance on PvP servers I would generally still run into only 1 or two players when out doing WQs in Legion. Maybe 3-4 at most on Argus.
That honestly felt fine, 1-2 you generally had the potential to out play, 3 would probably be rough unless they were kinda brain dead (or you had good situations to proc Victory Rush as Warrior). 4-5 you could at least potentially escape from or split them and pick off one.

Now on both sides it’s just mass balls of death, 20+ players a side and terrible sharding keeping them from ever meeting and instead camping a few solo players just trying to get about their day.

The fact that it directly drives how someone engages in that form of content is pretty bad design for a system in my opinion.
I don’t mind slightly unfair odds, just not when those unfair odds are all congregated into one area and grouped.

You name the place, I’m on east standard time. I’m on 7-9ish pm

I am also eastern. How does any port in drustvar sound. I will be off work around 7p qnd home normally by 730-745

Don’t go near the turtle quests in Drustvar for a 1-1
, an alliance death squadron is camping there :joy:

The island south of Zuldazar docks is probably the best area for a 1 vs 1 in my opinion. Most likely area to be free from interference.

Also video upload if it happens :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It was horde down there on my shard. I had to lead an army down there to break it up.

Below is a reenactment of the fight a the turtle quest tonight.

Ive never seen this happen. How does the horde get onto the airship in the first place?

Check out Alphon’s post near the start of the thread. He has a couple of videos showing it.

Oh sweet. Cheers.

Please do as there will be some actual PvP taking place in the world and as I’m also quite frankly tired of having people from our factions twiddle their thumbs and expect free bonuses.

I had to do the same but of course we have a different perspective.

A Rogue scout was hiding in a fish barrel and took some of this video.

Not sure why people are mad, they can literally just go to the nearest rested xp area and turn WM off go back and then finish.

I think you have to go to a capital city? I could be wrong.

I think they changed that to were you could turn it off at any rested location, but to turn it back on you have to go to either SW or Org.
