Absolutely untenable behavior from Blizzard

The short of the story: I just got off a 30 day RMT suspension which included a forum silence that is completely unfounded. How do I know an RMT on my account was unfounded? Well I’ve never performed/participated a boost/paid carry in the entire time I’ve played WoW since TBC.
So what ‘evidence’ must Blizzard have and how could Blizzard possibly justify not only a suspension, but a removal of a legitimately obtained reward that is also now unobtainable? No clue, because every suspension appeal I submitted was turned down with an copy+paste statement along the lines of ‘this suspension is being upheld’. Feel free to believe me or not, but here’s the data anyways.

Finally got an answer today and it wasn’t from Blizzard. They took away SL season 4 gladiator and the mount. Until today, I had no idea if the suspension was even rated to 3s, since Blizzard refuses to provide any details, including what they’re accusing you of. I can only assume now that they think I purchased a gladiator carry last season since the data I have to go off of is RMT + removed SL S3 gladiator.

To put into context: I was the guy who invented the kyrian guardian build last season, which I initially tested in 2s to 2400cr with an affliction warlock, to then test in 3s with a fury warrior and hpriest. Feel free to shame me for it, but hate the game not the player for allowing that to be viable.
The priest I had played with was a multi season gladiator and 2700xp that I had queued with for years.
The warrior was a multi season gladiator and 2700xp that was an LFG pickup.
I was a multi season gladiator and 2700xp prior in even SL, early season 1 to be specific, with my first gladiator going all the way back to 2018.

So not only were all 3 of us 2700xp multiglads prior to that season, but it was a novel comp that was definitely powerful, so where the booster/boostee behavior that is fundamentally a prerequisite for RMT boosting??

So what precisely could I have even done to prevent a legitimately obtained achievement from being removed by Blizzard themselves?

Should I have:
Intentionally thrown games to not gain rating as fast?
Not used legitimate game mechanics by playing guardian in arenas?
Did I play with the wrong players?
Did I simply annoy enough people and get falsely reported for cheating which then Blizzard daftly upheld without doing simple investigation?

Either way, I’ve spent a month pondering and realized that playing a game where you can inexplicable be unable to play a game you pay a subscription to play but also have now unobtainable rewards be removed with no proper recourse or justification is in its nature the only example of poor customer support I need to determine what state the game is in and will likely never change.

Sorry, your complaints here will fall on deaf ears. Nothing can be done about it here nor do the devs come here for player feedback.

Not to be crass but you do realize blizzard can see everything you do while on their game right ?

On that note they really do not have to have evidence to support any action taken against any account. They have the right to ban me ,you and anyone they want for anything they want. Thankfully though they have heart and don’t do that to players.

You’d assume that their ability to differentiate legitimate players from the degenerate boosters/boostees would prevent false positives, like I did. I definitely don’t believe that now.

I don’t expect Blizzard to properly recuperate this situation, that’s why I used my ability to let others know of the situation on the official forums. I have tickets in, to include my 6th or so appeal, and a support ticket in for ‘missing achievement’.
I personally would have preferred to know of my situation if I was a 3rd party looking in, so I’m compelled to let others know.

The standard of evidence for an RMT suspension must be so low to hit someone like me, who has genuinely never participated in any RMT or boosting in the 15-ish years I’ve played the game, that it could hit pretty much anyone.

The variables in my case are so baffling that you’d assume any human with CS level access would see how unsubstantiated the suspension must be.
Maybe Blizz has a fixed algorithm that pre-determined my case and they couldn’t overturn even it if they wanted to, it would be more likely than a human properly reviewing the suspension and believing its reasonable.

At the end of the day, if you’ve already had 5 appeals and the account action has been upheld, then they have enough data and proof, that they’re not going to overturn this.

At this point, a 6th appeal could be considered GM harassment. I’d be cautious if I were you as it can result if further account actions.

Unfortunately, posts about account action are not allowed on the forums either.

The detection system is not perfect sometimes it false flags people which is why there is a GM that goes over the log when an appeal is made.

However in your case i can only speculate they had substantial evidence to justify a thirty day suspension.

So every post about appeals taking forever are also not allowed, since those are ‘about account actions’?

Posting about the wait time for tickets is one thing, we understand that right now the wait is higher than usual and our support teams are working through the increase in incoming tickets as quickly as they can to return wait times to normal levels.

Discussing a disciplinary action, such as this topic does, is not permitted.

Discussing Disciplinary Actions

This category includes:

  • Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a player, including chat logs and email correspondence between a player and a Game Master (GM)
  • Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a character or account on the forums

You may only appeal an account penalty through a support ticket. We will not review them further for you here on the forums.
