A few months ago, my friend and I had our accounts inexplicably banned, but we did not violate the relevant regulations of the game, so we kept appealing.
Finally, I received help, and here I am very grateful to the staff who helped me.
But on the 16th of this month, my friend and I encountered this matter again, and I want to know how to get help again.
A Game Master resolved your ticket, and left the following response:
thanks for chatting with me today.
I have escalated this up now for a ‘final review’. It will take between 7 and 10 days to complete. And I will update the answer on this ticket once I hear back.
Live Chat has been closed, and the tickets filled out by my friends and I have not been taken seriously. I hope to get help because the two of us really did not violate the game rules.
Simple enough.
You wait patiently until the GM gets back to you, as you indicated in your post.
Were you unable to continue your original thread?
My ticket has always been rejected before. I found staff to help me through real-time chat, but now real-time chat is no longer available.
Right, and unfortunately your situation is one of the reasons live chat is no longer widely available. They’re allowed to help with certain situations permitted by the game developers.
Appealing account sanctions is not one of those permitted situations. You’re just going to have to wait on your ticket for further steps-- with that GM’s particular response, it genuinely doesn’t sound like you’re dealing with a suspension or ban if it requires developer intervention.
The real-time chat is only available during certain times of the day. And I don’t believe it’s open on the weekends at all.
And besides, live chat is only to be used for billing and account purposes. Not for appeals.
If people keep using methods of contact like they should not be, I honestly would not be surprised if they eventually did away with live chat altogether like they did the telephone lines that people were forever misusing.
The GM did say 7 to 10 days for Final review and they will contact you. Like I told you in the other thread, Nothing can be done here. You are just gonna have to sit on your hands and wait.
But last time my ticket was always rejected by GM, and my friend was rejected many times but was helped by GM. I really don’t know what to do except for this.
I just want to retrieve my game account.
Like Panzerstorm said right above you - if you were told 7-10 days, then you need to wait. That’s all you can do.
In the future, avoid anything sketchy and you and your friend won’t find yourselves in this position. Whatever it was that dinged your account, it is being reviewed. You just need to wait for things to finish up. If they actually told you that it may take 7-10 days, then that really is it. Period.
You don’t get to request any special attention to kick you to the front of the line when there were other people there before you. All tickets and appeals are handled in the order that they are received. How would you feel if you have already been waiting seven days and someone suddenly jumped in front of your ticket because they also were “I just wat to retrieve my game account”? It would suck and probably anger you and everyone else who had already been waiting for your turn.
Also try not to create multiple threads about the same topic if they keep getting locked.
The tickets I filled out seem to be answered by templates, and the staff seems not to be willing to help us. In this case, do we have to set up a new account?
Why should we be treated like this when we’ve done nothing wrong when we’ve been wronged? This is so unfair.
Two of my friends and I build new characters, level up through in-game ‘random dungeons’, and just like that, we get banned from our account? This is outrageous
Do you any type of gaming mouse that lets you do anything like multiple actions with one click.
GM’s use templates to keep information consistent across customers. You just need to wait. You can keep appealing till you are told no further appeals will be considered. If its the same reason that you got dinged before, you may have been given leniency previously but this time they may not offer you the same. An appeal does not mean you get your access back, it just means someone else reviews the data and either it is upheld or overturned.
Just need to be patient, no one here can say which way it will go.
I have installed a plugin: GSE: Advanced Macro Compiler, but isn’t this plugin a neutral plugin?
I set up a skill sequence and with each press of a button, I can release the skills in the sequence.
If I am banned because of this plugin, why is my friend also banned? He never downloaded this plugin at all.
That explain the ban but thats hypothetical.
But we don’t even know what mistake we made, and without any warning, we were banned from our game accounts, which is too cruel.
This is textbook automation.
Automation is a very, very, very prominent no-no and most definitely explains if that’s why you were actioned.
Nobody will answer this. An addon that’s okay today may not be tomorrow.
One action per keypress.
IF you set up to do multiple actions in a single keypress, then that is clear cut automation.
You really need to stop speculating and just wait on the investigation of your appeal.
Your friends issue is between blizz and your friend, Unless your account sharing, you wont really know what they have or dont have.
I have to press the next button, he will release the first skill in the sequence, and then I have to press the second button, he can release the second skill in the sequence, I see that there are people in the forum to discuss this plugin, not to say that it is not against the game regulations?
Also, my friend’s account was blocked, but he did not download this plugin.
If you cant do it via the in game macro ability, then its automation in some form either using software, hardware or something else.
