“Clap Clap Clap Clap” You out did yourselves this time. Thank you please keep up the good work <3
I’m one happy Balance Druid come 11.1! More survivability, less cyclone reliance – just like all of us have asked for since Dragonflight.
Maybe I’m missing something, but I feel like the survivability buffs are underwhelming?
- 4% more stamina.
- 30s off Well-Honed Instincts CD.
- Aessina’s Renewal… a meager 10% heal every 30s, procced by burst, but no doubt affected by dampening.
(Lingering Healing made me laugh. Do they not realize our HoTs heal for nothing?)
Overall, certainly better than nothing, but… not the defensive shape-up the spec needed IMO.
right now a lot of players are on xmas brake, their travelling, spending time with family or friends people arent playing wow right now they just arent . also new games our out like marvel rivals and POE2 this is the time of ear when everyone takes brakes its normal no the sky isnt falling my guy relax will all that jazz lmfao retail WoW is doing fine and actually participation is even higher than last xpac itll pick up next ear
Duelist Doze having another episode I see.
Yeah, decent range of promising changes.
Thorns (PvP Talent) is becoming Passive (triggered Via Barkskin)
Indeed, it’s all better than nothing. At least, Cyclone will feel less oppressive now and Druids will have a few more seconds to live and pull off their utility moves
It just makes me optimistic, to see that we’re actually being listened to.
Druids of all walks and ranks have complained about the cumbersome talent trees, survivability issues and GCD inefficiency. And, basically everyone in PvP have complained about Cyclone. IMO the CC nerfs were a mistake, I’ll stick by that… But if we’re already going with a certain line, might as well adjust all classes according to it and then buff and nerf stuff as necessary.
Edit: Apparently the new Renewal is a passive alternative to Renewal. Hmm
Other than that, I love the talent tree changes! Many great and new/returning talents are easy/ier to take. A lot of clutter and cumber is definitely reduced.
EDIT after thorough review: Basically, we gain 4% stam in Moonkin but 1% total less in Bear, can gain 3% dmg reduc for a couple sec after leaving Bear, and Well-Honed Instincts can be brought back to 90 sec. The Passive Barkskin Thorns is probably the nicest of the bunch lol but these are all very minor changes. I’m afraid something more would have to be added to compensate for the Cyclone nerf. I do think slightly more damage and survivability can be achieved with the new talent tree, but again – it’s not enough. Aessina’s Renewal talent should have been an Improved Renewal.
Haha, wow. That was the most significant – if still minor – thing. So boomkin got almost nothing on the defensive front.
So I thought as well.
After further inspection… You might be right about that
I edited my comment above.
You catch that bit about warrior being in a good place? They hate us. lol
That’s not okay.
Yes, it has been years.
I’m curious to see if this new Gale Winds talent stacks with the PVP High Winds one, making Typhoon quite handy to be used from a safe distance.
The other thing I’m curious with the new PVP things is this new Tree of Life substitute. 1.5min but just a 12s duration… I wonder how powerful it’s going to be in practice, but also if KotG ToL cooldown reduction talents are going to make this available very often.
These are actually great points! Typhoon should be great, also on the new arena map
I find the direction of Incarnation for Boomkin and Tree for Resto interesting, and probably warranted given that the Druids standard 3m CDs have long become outdated with class changes over time.
Again, I understand why Cyclone needed to be nerfed. Just to reiterate for anyone who might jump in later – I’m concerned that the survivability and damage buffs won’t be enough to compensate for that. In particular, there’s a new talent that looked to be potentially pretty nice, but it turns out to be a new passive choice node alternative to an existing active one and overall seems weaker because it is less deterministic.
A decade and a half later and Typhoon is still a pathetic shell of its original self.
WTB Blue Tidal Wave with substantial knockback.
The Ancient of Lore talent… does have a small cast time … Oh well. I suppose we got to be careful not to get kicked because the ToL can be used under pressure situations without any risks.
Wowhead uploaded a talent calc.
Yeah!!
That’s how I found out that Aessina is in-fact a choice node with Renewal…
My hopes and dreams were crushed in an instant…
Oh, my wings… So ruthlessly clipped and fried and glazed over, ready to serve to the hungry melee cleaves!
Again, tho, I still applaud the QoL changes, as minor as they might be, and how the Class tree is being handled for all its complexity… to increase and variety of ability choices and tinkering what works and helps each spec and making it more accessible to them.
Listening is happening. Just gotta hope there will be more tuning passes ahead (obviously, it’s a question of when tho)
I’ll only be satisfied when they give Resto Adaptive Swarm back… It would be really nice right now since you can only choose to go zug with either Balance Spells or Feral Melees, and the former is really lacking in tools compared to the latter.
… Another question that lingers: Why the heck Hibernate is still a talent?! IDK a single person who takes this in PVP to put hunter pets to sleep with a cast time. This kind of situational spell should’ve been baseline.
Ya. Overall nerf to boomy from a survivability standpoint and kill pressure with 1s off clone. BUT AT LEAST THE TREE IS WAY BETTER!!!
WE GOT A NEW BAT GLAD MOUNT BOYS, ANOTHER ONE.
They are actually trolling us at this point.
