I spoke about how as a member of the LGBTQI+ community I had personally experienced harassment, discrimination, saw friends publicly abused for dating the people they were dating and constantly feel the need to hide myself from members of my family. You instantly tried to discredit my experiences.

Regardless, if you really wanted to see small changes in the world, you would spend your time volunteering and donate your subscription to funding those changes instead of lingering on forums and pretending to be an activist.

If weâre going to talk about who is worse off, and insist only that group has any right to complain, how about the present situation of Muslims in India, or if time is not an issue and past difficulties are all that matters, how about the Israelites who were enslaves by the Egyptians?
All this - âwell someone else has/had it worseâ - is irrelevant crap spouted to shut people up for your own personal reasons while busily waving the virtue signalling flag.

No one is âspeaking down to youâ. If you have this much time to devote to this topic, and you pretend to feel so strongly about it, you can probably fit a few other organizations in there.
You have people on this thread who literally believe that including digital stereotypes will some how make the world instantly change. There are places in the world that have not changed for thousands of years, and never will. A western video game is not going to do anything to change that. The type of people who would hurt someone just because they are LGBTQ are probably not the type of people would would get caught playing WoW, sorry to tell you.
Complaining about something you already have is the equivalent of crying wolf (no offense worgens). People will eventually get tired of hearing you, and not take anything you say seriously. If you havenât noticed, individual rights are actually slowly being rolled back (look at the current supreme court cases). People are tired of all the fake outrage and the pendulum is swinging in the opposite direction.
