It’s senseless. The mount should have been a big white wolf (nod to Gen Greymane) wearing an optional top-hat. My Hati wolf pets have a little Fez they can wear, and I can also mount it. So they already had the assets…?

Considering that the worgen racial gimmicks is being their own mount, they probably should have got like a special beefed up worgen running form. Or maybe a neat, more dramatic casting animation.

The fox was a recolor / reskin of the Vicious War Fox. Since they’re on the table, mount should have been a recolor / reskin of the Vicious Gilnean Warhorse.
Don’t ask me why the culture that routinely goes on fox hunts gets a fox mount for reclaiming their city. Whole thing’s a mess, bad enough to get at least one person to actually race change.

It’s the Llothien Prowler that it’s a recolor / reskin of, actually, it just uses the same model as the Vicious War Fox.
But I stand by what I said. A recolor / reskin of the Vicious Gilnean Warhorse for the Alliance, and give the Horde the fox.
Would make sense after all. They’re not giant werewolves, and most of them don’t look like the pink-skins that made a pastime out of hunting said foxes.

It’s actually a reskin of the Llothien Prowler from Suramar which is the same model as the vicious war mount. It’s significant easier to get than both of the other foxes.

I have the red fox mount from Legion. I love it and it’s one of my favorite ground mounts. It matches a few mogs, feels ‘zippy’.
Why not a Gilnean carriage Pulled by a team of giant white wolves. In top hats.
