About blitz

My rogue character hasn’t been able to play Blitz for over a week.
I can’t get matched. It’s just waiting.
Is there anything I can do?

Are u getting a error message of any kind.

Are you getting removed from the queue? I believe that happens if I am waiting long enough to be marked as AFK.

The queue times are just very long though, usually around 30 minutes as a solo dps.

For BLITZ, the average waiting time isn’t displayed and it’s still been about 45 minutes.

For Solo Arena, the waiting time is displayed and you’re matched up in about 15 minutes.

Do you remember what your MMR is for blitz?

There is an issue where if your MMR drops too low the game literally does not find you a match and you can wait hours to get a match, if you ever do. Effectively you are completely locked out of doing Blitz on that spec on that character for the rest of the expansion just because you had bad luck with your first 10-20 matches.

It is an issue the devs need to solve (maybe make a bug report for it? Not much anyone can do in this forum to help).

A work around is to find someone with a higher MMR to queue with until you win enough games to drag your MMR back up to where you can get games again while solo.

Either giga nuked char or giga high and trying to play too early in the day.

Which character?

This is based on the average amount of time until a player gets a pop (not nesscearily a successful lobby) on that spec at that mmr.

Just now, around 7pm, the average wait time was displayed as 27 minutes, but after 50 minutes, the average wait time disappeared and even after an hour I still haven’t been matched.

I’m giving up.

Yeah what’s your MMR? Is it really high or really low?

Like I said in my other reply, if it’s really low you need to find someone to queue with to win some games to get it back up.

I’m assuming your MMR is extremely low 1000 or less. (We don’t really see this with high MMR but you would need to be at Gladiator levels of rating).

You have a few solutions to help unstuck your characters MMR:

  • Duo Queue with a healer (preferably one that’s Fresh MMR) and win a game or two to increase your low MMR back above 1000.
  • Play as a different spec. Each spec for your character has their own rating and MMR in BG Blitz.

If you want to keep playing the same spec you’re going to need to find a healer to duo queue with.

You haven’t provided any details so I’ll just echo what Void said and try duoing with a healer as this’ll either bring your mmr down or up, whichever is needed to get queues to pop.

If you’re high mmr I’d recommend looking for queues late at night esp on friday or saturday.
