Maybe they should brick addons in instances, and then just leave the cosmetic ones alone. Might be nice to see folks flood in here cause high level content is broken since WeakAuras and DBM will no longer be doing the thinking for them.

If combat addons didnāt make things easier we would only have UI mods, transmog, and bag managers.
But they do. The disagreement is just in how much easier they make things.
The wave of unsubbing threads would start within moments of the servers coming back up after this update.

Iāve mentioned and felt admitted Iām not in a mythic raiding guild. Hope you made yourself feel like a big brain with that jab 
you said you guys took a try at it yet there is no proof of that. you ran with 13 ish people(no where near 20) with like a 621 ish avg ilvl and then proceed to talk down to people about mythic raid and people using add ons.
But, Blizzard has been pretty open about wanting to bring in new players. Not maintain the current players base. You know, comments like āwe want everyone to interact with the game at some point.ā Leads one to believe itās not a matter of keeping the current player count, but making the game more accessible for more people. And having to download a bunch of add-ons to play the game well isnāt in that vein.
Now, the one thing none of us want to accept about Blizzard because itās easier to point out the bad then praise the good, Blizzard is going to agonize and try to figure out something to make both happen. Keep as much of the current players as possible while also making it more accessible for those who have never played before.
Or, wait, not everyone reads the interviews and keeps up with what Blizz is saying do they? Yāall only care about Blue Posts. If itās not in a Blue Post itās not real, right?

tell them not to make content that requires add ons and people would use less of them.
When people say add-ons arenāt required I wonder if theyāre even playing the same game as me. Try to do high end PvP, M+ or mythic raiding without it.
Addons will never go away because Blizzard would have to completely rework every area of the game (dumb it down).
You arenāt forced to use addons, and addons arenāt stopping you from being successful at the game either.
I like my add onsā¦

If blizz gave us a decent UI to begin with, there would be no need for add ons

That is what all addons are. UI elements.
The UI has gotten a LOT better. At least compared to ten years ago last time I played. So much more freedom in customization.
But there are still plenty of areas it could be improved to phase out add-ons.
