Was told by the GM handling my ticket that it is a routing issue. Anyone know what that means?

This means the GM is saying the path (route) your internet connection takes to reach the WoW servers is having issues

Your one course of action would be to ask for a refund, you could also file a complaint with the Office of Fair Trading in your state but these are just mediators and have no way to force blizzard to do anything.


I don't expect you to have read all 64 pages, but a few people have asked for refunds and have been denied

I'm not going down that path (yet), I really hope Blizzard fix the issue
this lag is a joke, why does it only happen after 5pm and only effect the world zones when I get zero lag in raids..... This has been going on since day one of BFA get your act together you joke of an indi company!
Drustvar is pretty much unplayable at the moment, AEST 7:45pm. 1 sec spell cast became 3s, 5s to loot everything.

Let face the truth, all this lagging only starts during Oceanic peak hour. Blizzard just doesn't want to invest more on the infrastructure and server to cater the load. The technical support just can't do !@#$ about it as it is the business side of thing.

This is the worst expansion they ever made, even the least sub WoD got their own issue and was fixed in the first week, this just drag on for a month now and i don't see any sign of improvement.

Well I mean, it's a great expansion content-wise. Shame we are all too laggy to actually enjoy it, though.

Doing my regular check of the thread in hopes that Blizzard have done or said something to indicate there's a light at the end of the tunnel. But there hasn't been, and there isn't - and at this stage, we've got.. What, two more days in the week to get an update before we see an alarming trend start to form.

Farming for 'required' raid and dungeon materials still a giant pain in the butt. C'mon Blizz, prove us wrong - prove you're not just waiting for us to quit in droves so the left overs get to enjoy latency free peak times.

I've put a weakaura up showing latency next to my action bar - it stays solidly at 22-23ms throughout the whole thing.

Despite this the targets actually manage to run right into melee range before the debuff from the initial cast is even applied to them.

"Blizzard isn't going to fix !@#$"
For them everything is working fantastic, making loads of money off morons playing an online fantasy game that isn't even finished.. By right Battle for Azeroth should still be in beta with all the issues they have.

Blizzard is the new Electronic Arts and the game isn't going to get better over time. Teldrassil is not the only thing on fire in 8.0 literally everything else is..

Ion Hazzikostas knew they were trying to polish a turd and call it gold. Why do you think they were selling Battle for Azeroth so early, so people can't get a refund when the see the game is horse %^-*..
So is this a " we will just stick our hand in the sand and hope they all go away" situation?

Or a "we really have no clue what they are on about and hope they all just go away" situation?
This problem won't get any traction until it really starts affecting American servers/players and then they will put all their focus on it.
This is very disappointing. We ARE paying customers after all.

7 days of playtime left, i have cancelled mine over this. No point paying when all the content i enjoy is a lagfest

I really hope next update from Blizzard won't be "we are still looking bla bla"...

YaY yet another lag fill'd night of play c'mon now after all these weeks of us reporting its must be clear by now this is a server fault, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH just fix it........

Sorry there haven't been updates. We don't tend to pop in unless there's something to share, and at present I have no further information to give you. We appreciate the details that have been shared lately as we've got a lot of information. Now we're just waiting to see what comes of that data and further testing.

That was 6 days ago. Which was ~7 days since the post with "GMs incoming!".. which itself provided zero no new information or confidence any progress has been made.

CMs, what do we (your paying customers) need to do in order to have this issue escalated within Blizzard? Clearly this is either not a high enough priority, or staff are not being given the time to appropriately investigate and resolve.

What can we do to help you resolve this issue ASAP?

I am just wondering why the IP we are using to run MRT is a Singapore IP? When I check my in game MS, it is 3MS. Which implies the server is a stone throw away, not in another country.
I am based in Sydney Aus, and play on Caelestrasz.

Where is the data center, where am I really connected to? What is the real IP I should be using to run diagnostics on?
This is beyond ridiculous.
