Ability/Loot Lag on Oceanic Servers Despite Normal Latency

I only get the lag really on Kul Tiras, there is almost no lag at all in Zandalar.

The dungeon servers seem to have less lag than our world servers, so if it's laggy you can always pop into a dungeon at least :).

It is really annoying when you want to just get some world quests done though >.<. Beachhead was a little annoying with the lag, I lost some turtles today T_T.

Been putting off levelling another character because what's the point when i can barely do world content on my somewhat geared character already due to lag... and this is really just making not want to even bother at all.

Checking in from Gundrak - lagging in stormsong valley while trying to level an alt. I had better latency on the US servers before I finally xferred OCE last week. World and home ping both say they're fine, but getting massive hangs in casting/looting.

This lag !@#$ has been going on since BfA came out and none of the Oceanic based traceroutes show any significant issue. My BfA experience has largely been log in, kill a mob or two, decide the lag is too %^-*ed to play and log out... seriously the lag when the oceanic servers were hosted in the US was better than this.

Might be time to pay Equinox for a bit more server resources or switch it out all together for a few new Nutanix nodes. Hope you can fix it soon Bliz cause it's ruining the expansion launch and overall feel for the game the way it is.

Just joining in to add my 2 cents on this matter.

It's kind of concerning that, despite the horrific lag, both Home and World MS are both displaying a consistent, stable 25.

Makes me wonder if the MS display just straight-up lying about server performance is maybe intentional. This is the same Blizzard that decided the best way to make Overwatch's win/lose rate feel more natural and organic was to just remove the ability to see it at all, afterall.

Playing on Dath'Remar with Warmode off.
This is kind of the trend I've been seeing. As far as I can tell, at least for Oceanic players, the lag seems to be exclusive to people playing WITHOUT Warmode on.

I wonder if maybe the Warmode Shards are given higher priority, and are simply taking up all the viable OCE Shard slots.

Playing with WM off on Caelestraz, in Drustvar, again experiencing our old friend World of Lagcraft. 5 seconds to collect from a mining node. 5 seconds.

MS and lagency checks are absolutely normal, as usual.

Post the results back here within code blocks </>. Other information we would like to know:

- Does this latency only occur in Battle for Azeroth zones or anywhere in game?
- When the latency is occurring what does your Home/World latency report. You can see this by placing your mouse over the red question mark next to your bags.

This information will help us greatly! Just make sure to collect it when the issue is at it's worst and during the time frame stated.
