I can’t hand the quest in. Question mark is showing on Aberrus Approach but no one is there. Can someone who handed this in give me some info.
Isn’t that the raid quest?
Have to go in and kill him.
I haven’t done it yet but you may be phased with a questline of sorts. Try checking if there’s a side quest in the area interfering with it.
i have no active quests in Zaralek Caverns and the only world quest i have near it is the climbing gear one which i dont think would do anything
he’s in Loamm

I am also having an issue where Ebyssian isn’t here. I have no open quests in the caverns. Nor any quest near by.

I was stuck on this quest, and Blizz customer support was no help. I found this thread and can now confirm that Hairynugs is correct. If Ebyssian isn’t at the ‘?’ on the map, check for him at 56.66 56.71 in Loamm.

Im confused, I have the quest did the raid but not one of the bosses was sarkareth. Can anyone shed some light on this I appreciate it thanks.

learned it not available through lfr just normal 
he is in loam ,and on top of one of the buildings in Aberous. he will have ? that is faded out until you kill Sarkareth inside the raid.
Thanks for this! Can confirm, despite having killed Sarkareth on Normal and going to the area pointed to by the quest, Ebyssian is not there and is instead in Loamm. The question mark did appear on the minimap at two different locations in the Aberrus Approach, but there were no NPCs spawned in those areas at all.
well yeah, you can’t get it through lfr because that wing isn’t available yet. when it is, then yes you can do it via lfr
Did you ever figure out how to do it? Im in the same boat and cant figure out what im supposed to do lol
How to complete the quest or to turn it in?
Here’s one for you, the Wing for the bosses up to before him is Available. The boss fight hasn’t been Released yet, and will not be released until June 19th. Sarkareth is time gated on when the fight is released, and I found this out across many other forum sites talking about this same issue. He shouldn’t be his own wing… Blizzard is messing up on releases again.
actually the final boss being it’s own wing is something they’ve done before. all 3 final bosses in WoD had their own wing, Xavius had his own wing, pretty sure Gul’dan did too.
I have the quest, finished it. I have done it on several toons actually and always turned it into the same place, outside the Inn in Loamm. I have it to turn in again and now he doesn’t have a ? over his head, went back to the raid and up to the seat of the aspects, nothing. So now what?
Old thread, but I also took about an 8 month break from the game and thus did this content well after it was current. But while Ebyssian is in Loamm and he’s on that tower near the raid - he doesn’t have the quest marker on him in either place (or in Valdrakken). So am I just out of luck and unable to turn this quest in?
Is he on top of the building next to the approach still?
As I said - he’s there, but he doesn’t take the quest. And he has the same dialogue in the spot where he’s standing in Loamm. And in Valdrakken there isn’t even that much.
