All races all classes please!
Let Shamans use 2h and 1h swords and polearms. Okay throw glavies in too.
Thank you!
Sounds awesome
Their previous attempts at not testing things have either been underwhelming or incredibly buggy.
This guy gets it.
Donât say that on here, reddit or any other forum except maybe MMO Champ. Because you will be labeled a heretic and removed from the group.
It truly baffles me the number of people who are unable to think critically about this stuff and what it actually means. I mean, my god, initial .5 patch came with content that should have been there at launch.
Executive Produce Longdale,
Is it still your intent to force those of us who either can not use or do not like dragonriding / âdynamic flightâ to walk until some point in the release cycle (max level / âstoryâ quests complete / pathfinding ???) for all future expansions?
I will never participate in the dynamic flight mode mini-game. I simply canât control it in my current circumstances. I also will not purchase software that punishes me because I canât use a redundant sub-system.
Your decision to force dragonriding in the current expansion, ruined the experience for me and my family. If your decision to favor dynamic flight over static flight stands, it will end my time in WoW.
Yes, looking forward to World of Currencies bloat, The War for more never-ending currencies
They have already stated that Dynamic Flying will be the normal flying going forward. The static flying will be available after hitting Max level and finishing the Story Campaign. I donât know what circumstances lock you out of dragonriding. But I am sorry to hear that.
But for many Dragonriding was one of the best features of Dragonflight. And one that many wanted to be Evergreen going forward. I know that some Donât like/have issues with it. But for the most part people have found it engaging.
Either way, I hope your circumstances improve.
By any chance have you seen Blizzardâs reasoning for not releasing static flight at the same time as dynamic flight? I havenât and I am scratching my head. Keeping dynamic flight makes sense since so many enjoy it. But if it is considered the âbetterâ option, why is it released immediately and static flight is only available after completing the main quest line? That is what confuses me.
The reason they gave is that it is easy to cheese content with Static flying. Ignoring things picking targets. For years people use flying to get around content and then complain that Blizzard isnât releasing enough content. It repeats over and over and over. The level of vitriol people have thrown Blizzardâs way after they got around doing the content only to say Blizzard didnât give them content has been a huge bit of contention for years. Pathfinder was a way to gate that. But the fans didnât like that. So Dragon Riding/Dynamic Flight became a way to have flying that was part of the content.
Okay, thank you for the reply and the information. At least now I have heard what their logic is.
Youâre welcome! I hope you have a great night
People in this community is like âWoW is so easy, theres no content and everythingâs is predictableâ. Blizz give them a suprise 10.2.6 event and community says âHow come you wonât give us PTR for me play with my addons that give me everything so that I dont need to use my brain and complain that theres no content, that is easy, and more copypasta-sh*tâ.
Like, bro, you guys donât play World of Warcraft with addons, you are playing addons with WoW.
None of that means that old flying couldnât be available from launch as well though. Itâs not like people are asking for DR to go away.
Look at all the old vs new flying threads, the pro DR crowd continuously insists that once you learn how you can do everything just as easy as with old flying, plus way faster, with the only exception being hovering. (And thatâs not even a big deal because thereâs plenty of places to land and afk)
The two arguments donât add up or weâd have seen DR use plummet as soon as old flying opened up.
So any retail pvp update?
Again, People hover, Pick targets, mount back up, and then fly away. And while some do insist now on using Static flying now that itâs available a lot of us just enjoy Dragon Riding more.
Personally, I donât have any care one way or the other if Static flying is available at launch or not. Really donât. It isnât any skin off my back. But Blizzard actually wants people to experience the content theyâve built. This is their solution. Whether you agree with them or not is between you and them as a paying customer.
Meh people have been burning through content in this game for years. You can skip a lot of the content they so called built with or without regular flight. Especially when dungeon spam leveling became a thing back in TBC years. Can basically skip open world content altogether. Hit level cap, gear up some then go back and crush open world stuff if you prefer. Dragon gliding might have fixed not being able to just hover over a spot for any amount of time, but still didnât fix being able to skip stuff/content if you choose to. Dragon riding is pretty cool feature though, especially once you find and unlock all the glyphs, but still not a valid reason on blizzâs part to not just go ahead and let folks use regular flying after getting to level cap. Just my opinion anyways on this little discussion.
I mean Thatâs kind of what they are doing. Get to max level. Do the MSQ which will take you to max level. Explore all the zones, and as far as we know youâll have static flying.
No PTR sounds bad. Sounds like cutting corners and cost. The one thing Blizzard has always done right is pre-testing their product, so if this is the first new direction by the new management team it brings ill tidings.
Hope not of course. But gonna wait and see here.
Remove bots and change new class devs first.
Why do people⊠ugh, nevermind. Ninjas please.
