Social stands alongside our other initiatives (like Expansions or Housing) to provide solutions and features—like, for example, rewards for positive behavior, easier ways to connect with like-minded players, roleplaying <gasp!>, and more. As an even more specific example, we’re looking at improvements to how we connect in-game Friends, Group Finder, and better integration to common external social platforms that we know the community uses regularly. The team is working on Social projects now that we hope to be able to share more about over the next year.
Can updates to guild tools, permissions and guild finder PLEASE be part of this?

TLDR:
Player housing preview today and they wanna make the game easier for new players to jump in.
Also, adding chinese style social credit score system aka good boy points redeemable for rewards!

Honestly excites for whats after sod or whatever amd housing.
THIS 100% … Blizzard have been not only ignoring guilds, but sabotaging them, for years. The guild experience for a lot of players IS their community/social experience. Some people are ONLY playing WoW still, BECAUSE of guilds.

Lol I don’t think we need to view it with such a negative lens.
Think of honor rewards in League of Legends, and voting for other players you feel did well in Overwatch (free skins for good behavior), stuff like that.
Anyways, I feel like there wasn’t much in this article that we didn’t already know.

Fix the A Farewell to Arms achievement so it’s actually doable. WQs are not popping for 30+ days. Quests from Tell me a Tale are almost non existent. Learn and grow? Time to show it.
These forums are about to be on fire if that housing info fails to deliver.
