A vocal minority pushing RDF down our throats

Once again, it is FACT, based on statistics to prove it. If LFD was the reason hordes of people quit wow, how did the subscriber count steadily rise for a year after it came out?

I’ve seen this quoted in a few arguments and I think it is interesting. If I am rich today, it most likely is not because of decision I took last week, last month, or even last year. It’s because of work and decision I took years ago. Success is a long term process, not short term. Wotlk didn’t have 12 million subs because of it alone, it had 12 million subs because vanilla was a huge success, TBC was a huge success. What happened in the months/years that followed wotlk? The decline of wow started. Success is measured over long term metrics, not short term.

Maybe ICC was the ending of a 10+ year long story being told accross several games and a lot of people wanted to experience that? Oh no wait, that must not be why people subscribed to WOTLK, it without a doubt is for RDF.

Nice try little troll. Your post can be disproven quite easily. When it is brought up that ppl that dont want to use it dont have to, then the truth comes out. … but but but nobody will be availabke to group with me cuz everyone wamts to use rdf. Uhhhh durrr.

If anything would convince the anti RDF folks that they are the minority, this is it. Good job man.

So wait, you think that it took the majority of the playerbase a year of content drought to kill Arthas? Shows how poor your gameplay skills are.

Oh, so the spike in subs of the WOD release, followed by the fall off a cliff wasn’t because WoD was bad but because Cataclysm was bad. Pristine logic.

It’s just absolute coincidence that the drop off a cliff around early 2011 corresponds exactly around the Cataclysm release. Everyone just remained subbed for a whole year of content drought to just drop the game immediately when a new xpac dropped.

was that suppose to be hard? LOL… and you are in an RP guild that doesn’t raid.

Of course, these are without a doubt reliable statistics that used a representative sample of the Classic WoW playerbase.

In addition, majority of minority doesnt matter. This is not how Blizzard make decision. They don’t care where the majority is.

You are right, i’m not an elitist pro meta slaves 99% parser. pretty casual player here. It did take me some time to kill the LK the first time around. What’s your point again?

I like how he counters that he didn’t fail at heroics in Cata because he… full cleared BFA… its a bold move.

The point is you’re the minority and you’re trying to keep the majority from having fun for your own selfish reasons…

One thing ive also noticed, all the people who argue against RDF are usually either a) hiding on crappy alts, or b) hiding on a level 10 retail char, so noone can see their raid progression or parses, almost as if they are embarassed by their actual skill level in TBC. Id argue that the majority of Anti RDF people are actually terrible at the game, and just pretend that RDF would kill their elitist mindset, when they arent even elitist. I’d wager if you showed your main right now, it wouldnt even be 6/6 SWP post prepatch.

Way to yell about the vocal minority while also being a vocal minority…

The general consensus I’m seeing around various social media and forums is that most people want RDF, not the other way around.

Irony is that the same people who claim that RDF ruins some sort of social or community fabric are also the mentally deranged incels who live on the game, abuse people and try to gatekeep people by calling others sh!t and casuals.

RDF saved WoW, it got people out of their 1 char mains to experience more classes, even if it were only for the leveling journey.

We’re doing all p6 this weekend. We already have 4 10 mans and a 25 lined up with a heroic sweat achievement team. You PvE retail Andy’s love gloating over 15 year old content like it’s difficult. What are you a manuredps sock puppet? Also we’ve had like a dozen king kills before FTH was even a thing. Much harder than pre written content rofl.
