A vocal minority pushing RDF down our throats

You’re letting etc., etc., do a lot of work here. Because this sounds like all of the changes were a defining feature except RDF.

I see the same like 10-20 people posting Anti RDF crap every day, you among them. It’s crazy how 20 people in an echo chamber think they are the vocal majority.

No need to, because WOTLKC won’t have RDF.

There are more people that don’t care about RDF than there are people that are against RDF.

Literally has never been a poll of any kind, nor any form of community questioning that’s ever shown the Anti-RDF crowd as anything more than maybe 30%, at best.

The Anti-RDF crowd cannot wrap their brain around the fact their archaic perferences are not the preferences for MOST players playing MMOs.

It’s funny they want all the bonuses of Wrath, but also want to force it to be as close to vanilla as possible, I still haven’t figured out why they don’t just stay in their golden era servers on Vanilla classic.

They make it out like it was the perfect golden age of WoW, yet they don’t go and play it, and instead want to go force something to conform to their own views, despite it not originally being such.

Maybe it’s because vanilia and it’s gameplay philosophies are garbage and they just don’t want to admit it?

Oh, but it will. You must be new to World of Warcraft if you think Blizzard wont spit out LFD the moment subscriber counts start to dwindle and they’ve sold enough boosts to line their greedy little pockets.

But RDF was in the game the last year of Wrath not the last 2 months.

RDF was introduced in patch 3.3.0 on December, 2009.

Cataclysm was released on Decemeber, 2010.

The more you comment the more your ignorance is showing.

I do not claim to be the majority, there is no way to know that for sure.

I could say the exact same thing of pro RDF people. Its the same 30-50 people all the time. Sorry to bring it to you, but the WoW forum arnt very popular… it’s only a few of us in here.

Ive seen over 100 unique names posting/commenting in favor of RDF, and far less against it. You are one of the loudest anti RDF people I’ve seen on the forums. You’re persistent.

Oh well, people said that about dual spec in TBC too. But hey, if they do, well so be it, you won’t see me here crying about it all the time. In the meantime, see you in Northrend and hopefully you find a way to enjoy all the wrath content.

Here is another nugget for you…

And Wrath Classic is running the 3.3.5 client from the start so the RDF tool should already be in the game.

I mean… of course a lot of us are silent, we got what we wanted, why would we be so loud?

A lot of pro RDF posts are from level 10-20 with between 0-20 post in their history, isnt that odd to you?

100 unique names is extremely low and kinda support my point that the wow forum it no way near being a reliable source to know what the bulk of the playerbase want.

alright everyday a troll makes a new statement that takes the spot of most IGNORANT statement on these forums.

Silent majority… If he says it guys it gotta be true!!! Nice like to view ratio kiddo.

to your lil smoking gun about waiting 30 minutes as a dps for a queue… they are literally not running dungeons now or usually waiting hours to get into a group now… lol 30 minutes… and they can fly around and herb while in queue… but you anti-rdfers want them sitting in the city whispering people for a group for some reason.

Dual spec never existed in TBC. I hardly recall anyone expecting that to happen until WOTLK. LFD actually existed in WOTLK and was present for a year of gameplay while subscriber counts continued to climb despite the content drought. LFD was statistically never the reason people left WoW behind. I’d say the massive talent tree overhaul/simplification of Cataclysm, the introduction of LFR, and the streamlining of class identity is what ruined WoW for most people.

For those shouting about majority wants this minority wants that. People leave the game for many reasons, and its certainly more nuanced than “RDF” or what “direction” the game took.

I am only speaking for myself but I quit shortly after Cata originally released, but it definitely wasn’t because of a feature or direction of the game. I simply graduated college and started my career. Life happened.

Came back in Legion and played BFA, skipped Shadowlands. I personally have had no issues in finding a community and/or new social group anytime I have played either.

I will say this though. If I am leveling alts in Wrath and there is no RDF, I am sure as heck not going to waste my time going to any dungeon that isn’t convenient to get to or spend the time attempting to find a group for it. RIP classic dungeons.

Time is a key constraint for me these days for any gaming or other hobby. Time is money friend.

We all have a different opinion and perspective on where the decline of WoW started. I respect yours, but don’t share it.

No, its an actual objective fact that nobody quit WoW over RDF and anybody saying otherwise is flat out lying.

Will we though? I mean Faerlina has one hell of a queue because people refuse to transfer to lower pop realms because they’re worried those realms will die as people leave the game in droves as what has happened in Vanilla & TBCC because changes being made have not been popular.

Also WoW sub counts pre-WoD are not opinions, as they came straight from Blizzard’s mouth. Those numbers very clearly show a continue climb in subs all through 2010, flatlining around the actual end of Wrath/start of Cata. If RDF was a cause in decline, then surely that decline would have started in 2009 when RDF was released

Well, opinions are one thing, but the statistics speak for themselves, and it definitely was not in WOTLK. That is not up for discussion.

It’s an opinion, not a fact. Sorry to bring it to you…

Non of that ever happened rofl. I’ve full cleared all BfA content on mythic with a sweat guild waiting for classic. I quit because the game became more about QOL and content carouseling than it did about being an MMORPG.
