I mean I find groups (and find I have an easy time) by joining the LFG chat. But that’s not intuitive at all for new players, I bet a lot of players don’t even know it exists. So I definitely think finding players for a group could be implemented in game better.
I agree, Blizzard should put more support and effort into improving the tool. Quite buggy, but I think by launch it will be in a better spot. I promise you one thread complaining about it if it isn’t!
100% agree. Blizz should focus on making that tool more efficient, more intuitive.
This topic has been resolved. Amberray is able to find groups. Clearly the rest of the community is just lying or is fundamentally wrong. We can now put this topic to rest. Thank you Amberray.
I mean… he is sharing his experience. He can’t speak of others… I know the pro RDF people can, but us, without telekinesis power, can’t
No. I main druid. I main healer and can offer to tank dungeons if I’m over leveled a little. So that’s why I don’t have much trouble finding groups (although I do think some people are just bad at forming groups)
But I’m totally sympathetic to rogues and other dps classes that have trouble finding groups. That’s why blizzard is updating the lfg system.
If RDF was implemented from the get go then it should only be with normal dungeons. The reward system tied to it works there but doesnt with heroics. In heroics you got 2 types of badges, 1 you could downgrade to a different currency to items that didnt exist at the beginning. Starting at tier 8 (the downgraded one) up to tier 10. So heroics can’t be included at the start and i think that’s fine and should come into play with the system when appropriate as it was meant to be … a catchup mechanic.
Then why do anti-RDF players call us liars for sharing our personal experience?
Because we’re not allowed to dislike something they want.
I don’t know i don’t !
Because forums are for one sided hypocrisy, you’re just doing forums wrong too.
Why can’t you just be better at finding groups like Amberray and be on the correct side of the argument!
I don’t know i don’t !
Then why did you generalize all anti-RDF (and pro-RDF) people? You spoke for others… in the post saying you don’t speak for others.
It wasn’t well written, i’ll give you that. Probably should have said that it appears some pro RDF people have telekinesis power.
Apologies for that.
Some pro-RDF people do, some anti-RDF people do. It’s because they’re people. It has nothing to do with their stance on the topic.
If they improve the LFG more, that’s fine. But right now it’s nowhere near ready to replace RDF.
Agreed, they need to continue to work and improve the LFG tool. 100%.
“The majority wants what i want, they just don’t say anything or answer any available polls, I promise”
as someone who is anti-RDF I don’t mind if finding people for a group was made easier somehow…It’s mainly the teleporting to the dungeon that ruins the game.
I’m willing to compromise by removing the teleport or make the current LFG tool that we have now better because as that stands, the LFG tool we have in Wrath classic is just not as good.
Imagine thinking blizzard make decision based on what the majority of their playerbase want.
Blizzard doesn’t take the playerbase into account when they make decisions and design the game, we know. The feedback that they are given during beta goes ignored, the very problems that the feedback talked about happen, and the solutions that were recommended are eventually implemented that actually fixes the problems - but a year or two down the line when many players have already quit.
If Blizzard took their playerbase into account then retail would be a better game.
Screw a survey someone just make a strawpoll and let’s settle this like real nerds.
