A vocal minority pushing RDF down our throats

When I play classic MMOs, people talk. When I play Modern MMOs, nobody reads or looks at chat no matter how much one social person types in it.

And you could say that same argument in the re-release of Classic, TBC and now WOTLK about no one talking other than your usual Hey, Cookies please and GG, thanks for the run! Thats without RDF btw

Iā€™m not specifically talking about their Dungeon finder, Iā€™m talking about the game as a whole and why I always hear that the game is great and yet you anti-RDFers think that if an RDF like system gets implemented to an MMO, the MMO is doomed to fail.

Oh yeah I completely understand that point that people are addicted to the game but still if RDF was a huge boogeyman that kills MMOs like you make it ought to be than we would not be here.

Tanks donā€™t get invited to things? Crazy world.

Iā€™m sure you are playing a tank because you massively enjoy it and not because if you donā€™t play it you would be still sitting in SW spamming LFG to see if a good soul would invite you. Crazy world indeedā€¦

Iā€™m sure that would never happen in LFD or Retail right, people switching roles to get into dungeon queue faster?? Im Shocked! Shocked!.. Okay not that shocked

There is a kick button for a reason?

Iā€™ve watched people votekick people for no reason in retail and people press yes 80% of the time, no matter what.

Such a better experience

You are trying to make it look like 90% of the time you will be paired with people switching roles. Thatā€™s absolutely not the case. DPS queues would take around 10min and you could play what you wanted. And still, you could always form your own group and summon them, like you can right now. No one is forcing you to use RDF.

It is, because there are, at best, about 20 of you grousing about it. There are THOUSANDS of players (probably more) that are ok with this or can play without RDF.

Youā€™re a minority.

In the current system you donā€™t need to vote, you just kick. Garbage can argument.

Players choosing who they play with must be scary for some, if so, you can create your own group, itā€™s not that hard either!

RDF being in the game affects everyone, like it or not.

Retail is the perfect example of what happens when you create and keep a system like RDF active well beyond its original shelf life (which was all of a single patch, if we are honest).

Ah I see, you have no idea how to not contradict yourself instantly. Weā€™re dealing with a bafoon lmao.

Yeah, you have the ā€œvocal minorityā€ severely confused I believe.

as someone who is anti-RDF I donā€™t mind if finding people for a group was made easier somehowā€¦Itā€™s mainly the teleporting to the dungeon that ruins the game.

I agree, thatā€™s what the new LFG party finder system is for.

LFG is actually pretty easy to use, and theyā€™ve been ironing out the bugs people have been complaining about.

lol honestly thatā€™s true. If RDF only existed as a catch up mechanism at the back end of wrath then it would be fine lol.

And Iā€™m so sick of people trying to argue RDF doesnā€™t effect you. Itā€™s literally the dumbest argument imaginable.

Have they improved the interface? That was the worst part of it.
