It’s not much different than manually spamming.

RDF is actually better. Because I can actually play the game for those 40 minutes while I wait for the queue. The current tool requires babysitting, being in city because the toxic gatekeepers making the party are going to demand to inspect me, and spamming in chat for an hour.

Find friends? Be social in a social game? Don’t play a dps character? I never said dps don’t sit there, but it’s much easier to cherry pick now. And not in an elitist way, but to balance out gear for drops, instead of getting a rando run with 3 hunters.

Here i personally like having a server identity. Server identity means nothing in retail. I know who mythic is but have no idea what server they play on because it makes 0 difference. Part of the charm of no xrealm is just that. I think that having RDF 1-70 keeps people playing alts especially during content droughts to help enforce new players joining due to activity starting from scratch. I also agree with adding heroics later on when they are a catchup mechanic because it really wont matter at all by then.

Np, mistakes happen, and yes there are alot of DKs lol. I was going to continue my paladin like i did originally but found the perfect guild (which mirrors the one i found orginally and absolutely was the pinnacle of my wow experience which wasnt found through DF) but the GM said they had a bunch of tanks and healers so if i wanted to play a dps i was like ok ok ok dk it is … always enjoyed the class but was never a main or taken to seriously.

I’m actually in a good guild. The thing is, tanks and healers also have their own list of things to do. I’ll ask in guild if anyone wants to do such-and-such and if people are busy, that’s fine. Friends aren’t obligated to be your pocket dungeon crew.

BTW the VAST majority of players on Maladath are DK’s and Pallies. Hunters aren’t a dime a dozen, here.

So theres some nuance here. Wows casual QOL ethos (the one it was born with in 2004 that made vanilla what is was) is BOTH to blame for rdf AND Shadowlands. And Xrealm PVP. AND vanilla raiding. and a number of other things some good some bad. you both just disagree on whats good and bad. But the two things are definitely connected. and connected to many other things.

I do not know what you are trying to say.

But what I will still say that the failures of WoD, BFA and Shadowlands is not because of the cause of RDF existing.

There are other factors as to why those three expansions smell worse than Dog .

This is not the case whatsoever with OSRS.

WoW is FAR more social and group oriented than RuneScape. I was amazed at the amount you COULDN’T do in WoW without a group
