A vocal minority pushing RDF down our throats

oh hunny, i know you think these 2 systems are related, but oml tell me you dont understand development without telling me. Please temper that expectation its gonna hurt you in 2 months.

Id love it if they came out and announced "Next weeks reset will implement rdf for all normal (or non northrend either) dungeons, but honestly thats not happening. if its implemented at this point it will be at closest phase 2 and THATS a stretch, giving them alot of the benefit of the doubt, and ignoring the fact that we basically know they have a skeleton team.

I’m not even anti-RDF and I can tell you right now you’re asking for disappointment by saying this.

I encourage toxicity for the sake of entertainment, not for the sole purpose to encourage people to play an MMORPG as a multiplayer experience. Toxicity is a product of gaming in general.

Honestly, toxicity is a product of experiencing existence.

Incorrect, blizzard has stated most players wanted RDF, and its the one change they’ve gotten the most backlash over.

We don’t socialize with our current dungeon system. I just message someone spamming for a healer in chat “inv” they invite me, summon me, I collect badges, and ancestral recall back to shatt.

And yes, DPS may see a 40m-1hr queue, but I don’t really bother trying to do daily dungeons on my mage. It’s a game BIS alt that I am just collecting badges/gold on, but can easily go hours without getting a group on a mega sever.

Realistically most players would only run daily heroics, which even at wraths worst, was honestly a 15-20m queue on most servers back in the day. You’d only see 40m queues on low pop dead realms off peak hours.

Most players quit because of LFR, spell pruning, class homogenization, talen trees being gutted to a “pick 3” system, and most notably
the most iconic villain in WC3 lore being killed.

The game grew in popularity and maintained that population well after RDF came out. Subscriptions only really fell in the lull from ICC25 to Cata launch, and then dropped through cata’s release. (Largely due to some class/talen tree changes that made players feel they’d lost class identity/utility)

“understand development”? Lmao, I’m systems architect, I will not even discuss this because I haven’t even addressed it from a development perspective, lmao. Where did you even got this take?

My comment is because by adding this feature they go directly against the very same philosophy they used to argue why they wouldn’t add RDF to the game.

im sure you are hun. its okay.

so the short answer is one you already know blizzard says one thing and does another constantly

Sure as you were sure that I was talking about development when I wasn’t? Alright

So you already know, they said they wouldn’t add RDF, so
 RDF is coming.

People seem to forget this so much. What they have now works fine, needs a little tweaking, but it’s so much better than xrealm blind parties.

Why do you keep calling him hunny and hun wtf

cuz we’re lovers, haven’t you noticed?

I can join any group in classic and be geared without saying a word Gdkps are amazing perfect way for solo game play. No one is asking for Lfr just rdf two different systems of which Lfr is the worst way to play

Youre on the wow forums sweetheart if nothing here hurts you to read except “hunny”

who hurt you? :frowning:

Ah so it was done intentionally to be condescending. Thanks!

Sorry but the data/science says otherwise. We don’t need any science deniers in here.

The stupid LFG tool doesn’t mean dps aren’t “stuck picking your noses for 40 min to an hour.” Dps isn’t suddenly getting instant groups because of this miraculous tool. Good grief. It’s not much different than manually spamming. How is this better than RDF?

eh theres more nuance than that. i feel bad because thinking what hes thinking is copium. i know how you expect boomers to use it and it wasnt quite in that vein.

oh hunny. the science says otherwise. it does? are you okay? feeling okay?

This is how that goes down and its not really my cup of tea. I use it when im gonna say something i know is unfortunately true for someone when i believe theyve convinced themselves otherwise, like
