That’s not a metric that matters, considering even Blizzard polls retail players on their opinions of what they should do with Classic. it’s also not as if you are barred from playing Wrath Classic if you didn’t play TBCC

Honestly if they can do it all they have to do is cap rdf In phase 1 so you can only do 12 heroics and it would be fine to bring out on launch
This is exactly the sentiment. I think the correct answer from blizz is rdf for normals and then phase 3 rdf heroics as a catch up when the first new 5 man comes in.
I’d be super happy if they repeated that for cata, rdf for normals and phase 3 rdf heroics for a catch up when the troll remakes come in.

They also poll them on wether they consume more classic content then retail and weight it according loy. Unfortunately for you that IS the metric that Matters. Blizzard keeps saying “our players” “our classic players” for a reason. If you didn’t consume tbcc you arent one of them.
Man you are right. You convinced me, only 1 perspective exist, and it’s the pro RDF one. Anyone who thinks otherwise is not allowed their opinion. Thinking RDF harms the game should be considered illegal. Having a different opinion on that matter is impossible, to a point where if anyone, literally ANYONE does have a different opinion, they are either ignorant, or trolls.

The argument isnt “my fav streamer made a poll online”. Are you braindead? Have you not seen the links to over 10 different polls that have been quoted on this post multiple times? Those polls came from Pro/Anti RDF youtubers/streamers alike. It’s not a compilation of surveys from ONLY pro RDF people. It’s almost like a WoW streamer can be anti RDF but have a lot of viewers that disagree with that one singular sentiment but can still watch his stream regardless.

It’s completely delusional to think a tool used to help the casual gamer would be NOT preferred by the majority (the casual).

If you think RDF was bad for the game and the majority doesn’t know what they want will hurt them in your opinion then say so. You aren’t a majority stop trying to force and force and force us into believing that nonsense.
I believe it’s also important to let people/companies know when they take decisions and actions that we support. I don’t support all of Blizzard’s actions and decision and criticized them in the past, but when I support them, I also tell them.
You can have your different opinion, but these forum posts titled “The vocal minority blah blah blah RDF” are so stupid because anti RDF is LITERALLY the vocal MINORITY.

Weird, most people ive seen arguing against RDF have their forum profile on a character that has no raid logs or is a level 10 on retail, almost like they… dont… actively…play the game.

we as players cannot confirm either way which is minority or majority without some way to officially measure it sadly. Unless there is some polling from Blizzard to every player well never truly know lol
