This is not my stand. My stand is that RDF is a contributing factor, and one of the first, that led WoW in the direction that led to what retail is today.
How many of these polls allowed people not currently playing tbcc and how many people would that account for??

Of course, our perspective is just considered bad faith. Weâre not allowed our opinion, we must simply have bad faith for thinking this way.
Why would anyone who wasnât at least familiar with WoW, even take this poll?
So if you play classic for âclassicâ why do you want to change âclassicâ WOTLK? Why do you even care about RDF if all you do is world pvp? Why stick your nose where it does not belong?

The real question is if they hate what WoW became in WOTLK so much and want the âclassicâ experience so much why they arenât just playing the Vanilla Classic servers⌠which literally still exist instead of ruining the WOTLK experience for everybody else.

But RDF is a QOL tool that was added in a later patch. All QOL from later patches in vanilla/TBC were added at the start, so if following the formula classic wow has used from day 1, RDF should be here on launch with all the other QOL changes.

Most of the Pro RDF interactions and surveys happened from youtube/twitch, which 99% of the world knows about today.
Itâs not following this formula. The devs said it was not even going to be added at all. Why do you think they are following some sort of pre determined formula??
Angerforge had 1,000 people online for alliance at like 10:00 P.M est.
RDF would open up that population to other servers so folks arenât waiting unreasonably for dungeon groups.
I logged in today and got an ST group together. Iâm playing a prot warrior. It took us fifteen minutes to find a healer. Unsure if it was because it was 6:00 A.M my time, but still.
If I queued in shadowlands Iâd have a group within seconds.
Also the only argument you need.
RDF was in WotLK. Thatâs literally all that needs to be said. It was in the game, by excluding RDF, theyâre not providing an authentic recreation.
What was their core tenants when they started classic WoW? Wasnât authenticity one of them?

It would ruin phase one. Many people want a true wrath launch experience especially on PvP realms

Because they followed it from day 1 of classic wow, did you not read that part? every iteration of classic wow has been that way so far. Vanilla came with the latest patch and QoL. TBC followed the same suit. Wotlk should too, and because its not, you can see the amount of outrage/dissension it has caused in the playerbase.
This is the dumbest thing Iâve ever heard. Not every streamer/youtuber that posted surveys was PRO RDF. Alot of them were anti RDF and looking to see who agreed, and they were shown that the majority disagreed.
You claim the majority, but Wrath was by far the most popular expansion and the one that added RDF to begin with. TBC isnât even being continued because of the lack of popularity (for good reason honestly)
I still wanna see this socialization that people are talking about when forming groups. As I type this right now I am making my way to Desolace to do a dungeon while lvling an alt and not a single message is going out in the party chat in this long travel time. There is no actual extra social aspect, just longer wait for dungeons, more effort for introverts put forth into joining/forming a group, and longer travel times without the function to teleport into the instance, esp while lvling pre tbc where dungeons are way out in the boonies split all over the world.
Itâs not lazyness, itâs called I donât want to spend an extra 30 minutes for a dungeon because we have to travel all the way out to Desolace or wherever. Not everyone has the time to no life 16+ hours a day 7 days a week into the game and it really hurt their experience and what they can get done.
Saying RDF ruined the game, yet retail is still going strong with continued use of retail to this day.
Also for ninjaâs, idk about you but my Guild will be running all 5 man pre made dungeons so we can make sure to get the dungeon pieces on who we want them on.
Also you can also continue to use LFG bulletin board and LFG chat for dungeon groups, just Iâll be teleporting freely to all the dungeons while you fly all over Northrend.
