I know probably doesn’t count as Dracthyr are a melding of mortal essence and dragon apparently but… when i saw they planned to only give us human girl or elf boy I was all meh I can stay dragon form…then they release or it’s datamined that there is a red dragon who’s visage is a vulpera and a green dragon who’s visage is a tauren. Still a tad sore about this as I mean come on now, they’ll give NPCs the options for it but not the players? I mean at this point why not give us those hulking pure blood anthro dragons they have us flat out kill in the dracthyr starting jobs then save moments later if they were going to pull this stunt?

Yeah frankly the blood elf guys got some animations I’m not comfortable with. If we’d gotten a female elf then alright but the male blood elf animations are why I never play male blood elves. I’ve got maybe two blood elf girls as I had no choice in the matter at the time and rest are things like tauren or vulpera or pandas or worgen or like a light forged gal and a void elf girl. Idk the female models are just nicer to look at except when the males and females look too closely alike.

It’s a skill the they just discovered. It’s fine as is. It makes them more different and unique from real dragons
Wrong, females use the human rigs. Like how vulpera use the goblin rig. Are vulpera goblins?
Drac visages are essentially their own unique humanoid race that makes it easier for them to interact with mortal races.
You are not allowed to choose because this class is a textbook exemple on rushed content.
It doesn’t have to be that way. I’ve already seen some of the Dracthyr responsible for researching visage forms. The lore is already there. THey could glyph it so you could choose whatever race (Within your factions pool) you wanted to be.
Its not a matter of lore or anything like that.
Blizzard has simply rushed DF and had to cut corners to launch the whole thing as soon as possible because they needed a new product to hit the shelves before the year is over.
They could fix that by adding more visages or whatever in the near future, but I doubt it. By now they should be working on the next major patch and they are already behind schedule.

The visage form for female dracs is the human female. My comment was to the person saying they are forced to play another elf race. I gave an option to not use the elf form. Nothing i said was wrong. I don’t think you read what i was responding to for context.
I thought it was particularly hilarious and insulting when Wrathion gave that speech given that you can only be a human or an elf. Yikes moment.

I for one will never be seen in visage form because the "dragon parts"look like cheap 1980’s star trek alien knockoffs glued to a bloodelf or a human
They should have just saved the time making all that and let us choose any race as our visage. Do you see any crap glued to chromie’s face? No because it looks dumb lol

Yeah that was the part that got me laughing.
It’s a personal choice my choice. No wait it’s my toons default choice not mine and there is no choice.
It is stupid and like making covenant swapping a thing from the start blizz should allow player to choose visage form they want from the start. Allow gnolls and murlocks and tuskar as options for visage too damn it.
Why would you willingly be anything but dragon form? Their visage forms look gross.

One isn’t an elf or human. They just use their rigs.
Each are unique races that uses the rigs of others.

We are saying the same things. No one is implying they are these things, we are saying they use the bodies. We’re talking about physics, not story. OP didn’t want to use the new race which puts more elf bodies into the game, and i said the female form is based on human, i just said it with much fewer words, because most people understood what the OP was saying.
