It’s typical modern lazy Blizzard development.
Depending on the faction you pick you should 100% be able to pick an available race within that faction.

Except that you’re thinking that each visage would be “draconic” themed, when it’s shown in game that every dragon in their visage looks fundamentally exactly like their chosen race.
It’s typical Blizzard “left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing” fashion.

I don’t think “blending in” was used? May be small-brained but I think it was more, so people feel “comfortable” talking to a humanoid.
Still a bad reason but I don’t think it had anything to do with “blending in.”

Ive seen this same statement in a few posts here, so to be clear:
Dragons and Dracthyr are NOT the same thing.
The dialogue immediately after going into visage form expands upon this.
And lazy? Dude, if they allowed all race visages, you’d QQ over having “bland” normal races as visages. “Well Alexstrasza’s visage has horns” type deal. Now that they have a billion different customization options for 2 visage races, you QQ because you cant be a Tauren. The customization is actually phenomenal and the Dracthyr have undeniable drip.
Blizzard is lazy in your eyes because you wont allow nor accept a win from them. Yall complain too much for that.

Everyone is just mad that the visage options are vastly superior to the customization options of all the other races.

in a perfect world, it would be great if they gave dracthyr type modifications to every race, along with the new ‘totallynotanelf’ form.
I get that would be a TON of work though, so even as a compromise it would be nice to have the option of ‘totallynotanelf’ that has all the cool dragon type customizations, -or- you could choose any one of the other races for your faction but without any extra customizations. at least in the short term. (maybe then they will finally get around to adding more customizations to all the races, but i’m not holding my breath on that.)

It’s not a win though when I think play as a dragon in WoW that includes picking a Visage of my choosing of any playable race within reason thats not what we got though instead we got an ugly Abomination that caters too Elf and Human players who don’t want to play as a Dragon as is obvious by their constant calls for permanent visage form.
Its just another case of “you think you do but you don’t”
No they’re not it’s all awful and I’d prefer no visage form over it also Vulpera customisation > Visage customisation

Vulpera can’t be Evoker though so only solution is Vulpera visage
