And, once again, expecting people to read something they have to search for before actively doing something that is a reasonable expectation that it actually works is not a fair expectation.
It’s why literally every other live service game has in game alerts.
This patch reflects the poor release quality we have been receiving since prepatch this expansion. For a while there we had some seamless releases, which was so nice. Some bugs are cool, it happens. But this was only half the patch released and it’s … bad.

Yeah, a worse version of what they were originally. Literal copy/paste of the original visions, except they couldn’t be content with that and needed to make the corruptions (the main fun part of the visions) absolutely not worth the effort.

No, it’s genuinely not. Not a single game on the planet expects their players to actually run through every single line of patch notes and company posts.
Expecting that of this game specifically when they can’t be asked to even give a link to the issue on their own in house client, much less in game, is actually insane.

The client would suffice, and maybe the box on the side of character selection, but they can’t even be asked to do that.

I don’t recall saying that. What I said is that you had to read them. The patch notes aren’t complicated. It literally says on them, “Horrific Visions return May 20th.” The blue post that told us all of the bug before the Great Vault could be opened this week was literally on the front page of the forums (and it’s still there).
Your attempts to defend people who refuse to read are just sad. Please be better. For your own sake.
