A true net negative patch

First, I log in and get two duplicate rings in my great vault. I try to find the horrific visions and where to do them only to find out that they are being arbitrarily timegated for another month (???). Well, at least I can do the new flame’s radiance scenario, which is the only feature that actually released with the patch launch. Oh wait, no I can’t the boss is bugged and prevents the event from being finished. Therefore, the only thing this patch really added was the vault duplicate bug. Bravo Blizzard. You’re welcome for the beta test EU.

Can’t relate

“Character not found” still

I thought hmm let me get some work done and I’ll try later, well, all my work is done and still no dice so I’ll just sleep

Got to give credit where its due…

They also added a new UI cooldown manager that removed important information and fails to meet most players needs

Actually surprised this issue alone didn’t warrant emergency maintenance, even if the other problems were left on the back burner.

Customers being unable to access a product is usually a high priority incident in the business/tech world.

Less people playing means less system load to create problems and less “testers” to find new ones…so they probably view that one as a win.

That’s probably not true, but Im just salty right now. Lol

Lol, I get it. I don’t think anything released this patch is bug free, and some people can’t even play. It ain’t great

Don’t forget useless cooldown managers that you can’t customize, why would anyone use that over WA? Also personal resource bars being bugged lol

Not sure I’d even want visions available now, given the sorry state of this patch so far.

Can you imagine what Visions is going to be like if this was a struggle?

Multi dollar

Honestly, the patch cadence needs to slow down. They may be wanting this expedited cycle to push out more stuff, but they obviously can not handle it with their current staffing.

Every patch this expansion has been some massive fiasco. Guild banks being deleted, characters gone, events bugged in dumb ways, the achievement pop issue, the absolutely ridiculous lag, and now this patch is causing massive stalls in performance. I’m getting physically DCd or having freezing in raid when trying to rez or use Killing Spree half the time.

Obviously they can’t bug fix and patch at the speed they’ve been pushing content with their current team. They need to just stop with the shorter cycle at this point.

The game is becoming physically unplayable as this expansion progresses with these performance hangs. I do not have issues in other games. Every patch on WoW makes the issues worse.

Shadowlands rep is warbound, that is a positive…

The one positive for me at least. Yay!

So you didn’t read the blue post saying that there’s a great vault bug, okay.

And you didn’t read the patch notes, which made it pretty clear they aren’t available until May 20th.

Yeah, this is why trying to do new content on patch day is ill-advised. There is always a bug or two that occurs when a patch goes from testing servers to live. They normally get addressed via a hotfix or maintenance that occurs that day.

It isn’t. For starters, the other quests from the Flame’s Radiance all work as intended. They also added the cooldown manager and made several of the Shadowlands reputations account-wide.

It’s not Blizzard’s fault you didn’t bother reading.

Yeah, no. This isn’t a reasonable expectation when they can’t be bothered to place an alert box in the client to warn people.

70-80% of players of any game do not interact with the game beyond the game window itself. It may be smaller for WoW, but people logging in and collecting loot from vault should NOT have to wait for a blue post every week, or even on patch days, outside of the game, and stress about it being broken when Blizzard themselves refuses to acknowledge issues with it half the time.

This duplicate issue has been reported on and off since Season 1 with no acknowledgement. They only care now because enough people had it simultaneously, and now they can’t push it off.

Oh, also, the active refusal to provide compensation for this and the Guild Vault problem from last season is flat unacceptable. They broke the game. Why are we paying for it and just taking it lying down?

Blizz has much better options for communicating these issues than a blue post on the forums that maybe 1% of the playerbase actually looks at.

OMG, that is hilarious!

I have tears running down my face.

Folks need to record this post so the next time someone talks about how bad a patch is, this can be posted to remind them of the time Blizzard only added a bug.

It actually outdid the selfie one.

:cupcake: :cupcake: :cupcake: for you!

At this point you should be more than aware to read patch notes.

If you refuse to, that’s on you. It wasn’t hidden. It wasn’t sprung on you unawares. It was right there for you to read; you just chose not to.

Shilling for blizzard in one of the worst bugged patches to date is crazy. Go touch grass.
