I knew som pve was going to be bad so I quit the same day I finished ranking and never logged in again.

Already had my ranker drama and premade fun

Yeah… I just played SoM to do premades with some of my PVP friends again and got the same thing.

One of the reason why PVE was fun was the meta around world buffs. It made ppl run alts and gave newer players value just because of rend buff, and the dragon heads.
Also taking away buffs (pvp / the purge wars) and protecting buffs was a gamestyle in itself lol so pvp and pve melded very well in classic

Agreed, world buffs were good for the game. I remember saying that right after tbc came out and no one agreed at the time but getting the WBs and then not dying was a big part of the game.

Well, you are about to get attacked because your post is negative about TBC which most on here love and positive about the world buff meta which people HATED.

I agree with you that world buff coordination was actually great for server communities. It really did bring people together. I had so many people reach out and thank me when I dropped my rend head and felt like an MVP at that point. That kind of thing. Coordinated buffing WAS a positive for server communities and that’s just a fact but with the amount of hatred people have for world buffing many will never admit any positives about it.
